The armored Kyverian strolls his way towards the meeting hall. The direct approach seemed likely to be the best, for now. But perhaps, he may just be setting himself up for an ambush. In either case, the disguised captain of Nohr takes one deep breath before expelling the fog through the grill of his face plating.
"Look alive, my good man. Someone might slip through." Kyverian's voice reverberates through the cold metal, "Is there anyone inside? I may check for you, if you'd like." His forearm comes to rest on the pommel, subtly boasting the strength and equipment in his possession, yet never expressing it. Instead, he gauged their reaction silently, watching them through the grill of his face plate.
Upon closer inspection, there was a purple handkerchief sticking out of the back pockets of the two men. Furthermore, their facial details were easier to make out now that the captain had drawn a little closer.
In fact, both of them were strangely familiar. The hair of the left man was groomed in such a way that it reached the sky, while the rightmost fellow wore a very nostalgic mask. It was clear that they were both mercenaries from another city.
“Vern, wake up!” one of them quietly ‘snapped,’ slapping the arm of the masked man, “Cavalry’s here.”
“H-huh? Yeah?” the masked man responded as if awakening. He glanced up to Kyverian, his shoulders raising in surprise, “Oh, oh.” He pointed behind himself, “Head right in.”

Fila looks up sharply, ready to silence the witness. Then she sees who it is, straightening to her full height now that she was indoors. "Hello Riley. Glad you're well." To the bartender's question, she gives a shrug. "Of a sort. With precision. But ultimately, yes. Its what I do."
"Anything you can tell me about the situation?"

Fila"Oh, how I can tell you about it," Riley smirked, "We got guys from the ol' Rest stationed around the town. Pretty sure your employer said that the Loyalists be wearing our scarves, yeah? Well, till the fight starts, we don't wear 'em on our wrists." She moved past the mercenary and closed the window sill, pushing the curtains to allow them privacy. "We got five Hoshidans that were snuck in... but get this--"
A slight pause as a trail of footsteps passed in front of the door and diminished after a fair distance, "... They ain't flyin' the Hoshidan flag. A bunch of us figured that they might be rogues operating under some kind of unified banner, but we don't know of what. Crazy, right?"

The strange familiarity had him at ease, once he recognized the purple cloth that they carried. Those two were good people, loyal people. It was all Kyverian needed before he gives them a nod, heading inside the town hall. Each movement is stiff, purposely so thanks to the bulk of the black plates. The town hall door is eased open, deciding to enter with a lax disposition rather than spark fear into anyone who might be currently in the halls.Ursula
Kyverian Upon entering, Kyverian was greeted with the sight of a small tavern, with a long hallway extending past a bar, and to his right, a reception counter. The room itself was warm and muggy, presently due to the number of individuals around the room. It appeared as thought there was a meeting, but the faces of those sitting upon the tables were unfamiliar. They huddled close together in quiet conversation, yet actually unaware of the man who just entered the room.
Except for one, a young, lady-like woman standing in attendance at the reception desk. Her face was recognizable to the captain, as she was none other than the secretary who worked at the Wyvern’s Rest. Upon his entry, her eyebrows raised and her slit-like eyes appeared to smile. She pressed her finger to her lips, and beckoned him to draw closer.

Fila tilts her head, interested. Rogue Hoshidians? That would probably be of interest to someone. As long as they died like any person, she didn't particularly care. "Crazy indeed. Seems like every nation is dealing with its own traitors and revolutionaries. You sure we aren't doing Hoshido a favor." Fila glances at the door. "... Though I suppose if they mean to oppose Nohr, it doesn't really matter."

The familiar presence of the Secretary put him at ease. For the most part, it meant that there were others who still recognized him, despite his obscured face via the full plated helm. Kyverian skulks across the room, glancing towards the huddled group out of the corner of his eye. Cautiously, the armored captain leans forward, arms onto the counter top as he makes sure he's within whispering distance.
"You've been well. I'm glad to see you're still alive." The hushed tone was spoken with sincere care. But his tone soon shifts when he remembers his purpose. "I am all ears." Ursula
KyverianThe secretary, Janette, nodded her head to him as her thin smile broadened. Following suit with his movement, she also drew near to his face, “We stand in the snake den, monsieur.” The surface of her eyelids shifted in the direction of the huddled whisperers, ”... And among them is the king cobra.”
The crowd in the room consisted of fifteen people, most of them human men both young and matured. There was a single elf in the mix, whose hair was white as snow and spectacles round as can be on his nose. He carried an unusual air of mystery and stateliness, and a hint of eccentric superiority, moreover he seemed to be speaking the most.
”We need the elf,” Janette murmured, ”He is someone who absolutely cannot escape this place.” Fila”Nah, it doesn’t,” Riley responded with a tilt of her shoulder, “But there is a big matchstick lighting them up, giving them supplies and supporting their cause.” She tugged at her pocket, producing a piece of paper containing the likeness of a certain individual, “This guy. He’s Mister Very Important Person, and we need him alive for various reasons.”
The picture was the bust of an elf with large, circular glasses and messy hair, wearing dark clothing.
“After we nab him...” said Riley as a fox-like grin stretched, “You can go as crazy as you want on the rest. Deal?”

Fila nods, a bloodthirsty grin of her own forming. "Deal. Do we have a schedule for him of any kind? Or will your people be grabbing him while I provide a... distraction." The mercenary moves out of the view of the window to lean on a wall. "I'm not the best at taking people alive, after all. Though I have experience with it, a plan would be nice."

Fila“Well, don’t worry about that,” the bartender chuckled as the picture was tucked away, “We’ve got more than enough hands on deck that’ll focus on the target extraction, we just need somebody to keep the rebels off their backs and heels. The signal to start is when one of our guys throws a mug of beer into the fireplace. Then we go in hard and loud.”
There was a tap beneath the floor next to the door, and in that moment, Riley produced a folded purple handkerchief from her back pocket and tossed it toward Fila, “Here, put this on. The boys and girls are ready to play.”
She headed toward the door and tapped her foot three times on the ground, then gently pushed through into the hallway.

There is a subtle shift of his attention, just enough to put the white haired Elf within the peripheral of his vision. Just enough to see the details and to make note of the Elf out of the other patrons. A den of snakes was an apt way to put the situation, enough so that the captain smirked at the comment. "Infestations are best dealt with by the Head." For now, he does not approach the Elf, keeping the man within his line of notice as he backs away from the desk.
The room was certain to have another member or two. Or perhaps, it would hold a detail he might not have noticed on the way in. Kyverian makes another cautious gaze around the room, searching for more of Ursula 's loyalists in the meeting hall.
Aside from the two other men who had followed him in, there was another trio of men sitting by a bar who appeared to be surreptitiously tying purple bands around their arms. One was a clean cut, average-looking fellow with impressive musculature, another a lad with blonde hair, whom he would recognize as the young soldier he had met at the ruin of the Wyvern’s Rest, and finally a man who had a fair amount of scars on his face. Furthermore, there was another group of men sitting in a corner booth, eyeing the elf with great scrutiny, yet from this angle it was hard to tell if they were Loyalists or not.
At the same time of Kyverian’s observation, Janette quietly slipped out from around her counter to swiftly tie a handkerchief snugly around his arm.
“... And so, we will trounce the lackluster flag-waving caravan with a great show of force!” the elf in the middle finished with a swing of his arm, “Are we rather clear on this, gentlemen?” There were passive affirmations given, and so they all rose from their seats.
Suddenly, the elf cast a glance in Kyverian’s direction, his smiling eyes and serpent-like grin broadening.
“... Oho! My other pickup is here!” he exclaimed, “I suppose I’ll be placing my bets.”
A man of great stature stole a glare at the elf, “What do you mean by that?”
“Why, a good merchant takes on clients of either side!” he responded cheerfully, “If you win, good sir, you’ve my full support, but if you fall here, then I may as well not fund your little escapades!” Two large angry hands were thrust in his direction, only for them to be deftly evaded. A malevolent chuckle blurted from his throat as he threw himself back against a sofa, “Do give a good show. I know someone needs my help either way!”
“Son of a...!” the man shrieked, he turned toward Kyverian while withdrawing an axe from his belt, “Garon’s dogs are here! Sound the alarm!”
“No alarm tonight, ya’ country bumpkin!” the well-groomed guard exclaimed as he pounded his fists together, “Argil ‘n’ Vern are gonna put you all DOWN!”
“Hell yeah!” the masked guard exclaimed, “Get ready for a world of pain!”
At the same time, the two at the bar turned their bodies with weapons unsheathed to face the men who began scrambling out of the corner booth. “Lucas, Jensen, help me serve these customers.”
“Yes, Captain Ashton!” was their unanimous exclamation.
Thus, five men faced Kyverian, Argil, Vern, and Janette, while six faced Ashton, Lucas, and Jensen in the corner. There was a shuffling in the hallway, of which there had yet to be any support.Fila

Fila catches the handkerchief, wrapping it around her arm. Then, she follows the bartender out of the room, swaggering to the balcony and tilting her hat back. She leaned over the balcony, a shadowy mass forming in her hand. The moment things kicked off, she flung it down at one of the men facing Kyverian.

It seemed his subtle glancing wasn't so subtle. But it mattered little in the end. There was a fight to be had, a fight that he would gladly give to them. The iron sword is pulled deftly from his belt, his gaze shifting over towards the loyalists emerging from the booth. But more importantly, Kyverian grants the Elf one last glance before returning the full of his attention to the traitors that were staring him down.
Just when it seemed like there was going to be a brawl, assistance came swooping down from above. Dark magic came down, his attention shifted upwards, but only for a second, as an opportunity was created with the sudden blast. With two hands gripped on the iron longsword, Kyverian goes charging forth to the nearest enemy, swinging his blade with pure determination as a single cry is expelled with force from his lips.
