Shirasagi is the capital of Hoshido. The city spread multiple districts, each having their own carved fountains. Rivers flow freely though Shirasagi. The city is well know for its extravagant festivals. Wonderful temples dot the city. Each to the Dawn dragon. They rise in grandeur the deep one gets into Shirasagi. Castle Shirasagi is built into a mountain close to the town. Steps, flowing passed waterfalls and springs, lead to the beautiful home of Hoshidan royalty. It is said to be home to a mythical chair that reveals one's true self when they sit on it.
The Great Wall of Suzanoh is a large wall that surrounds Shirasagi. Ballistas line it and the wall overlooks a large, open field. The number of troops stationed here has nearly tripled, with more arriving daily. There is a growing security concern with the number of travelers that pass through here, but the royal family has declared the wall to remain open. Despite the war, people still walk and jog here. Many traveling traders set up stalls on both sides of the gate.
Once a castle sprawling with soldiers, the fort has been conquered by Nohrian troops recently. There are plans to take the fort back and rescue the Hoshidan general, but so far nothing has been done. With no real leader, the troops are left with scattered forces.
Kitsuki is carved into rolling, green Hoshidan hills. The town is well known for having two separate samurai districts. These districts are made of several families and schools. People come from all over to train in Kitsuki. The two districts close around one long merchant row. Though mostly weapons, many imported good can be found here. The streets are protected by the many samurai that live here.
The wind village is only reachable by climbing the eternal stairwell, a route rising through dusty mountains. The stairwell itself is poorly maintained. Entire sections of steps have been eroded. There is no water along the steps and people are said to have died making the climb. As for the Wind tribe, they exist independently within the Hoshidan border. While on good terms with Hoshido, they have chosen to remain neutral in the growing war. The town is separated into chambers supported by standing stones that rise high above the mountain grounds. They are connected by long bridges. A single river rushes through the area.
Located deep within Hoshidan mountains, nature rules the Kitsune Hamlet. Bushes grow wild, trees go unshaven, and grass grows unattended. This not only hides their village, but gives plentiful ambush locations. Despite living in seclusion, the kitsune will confront anyone that wanders too close to their huts. Rumors say that if you find a grand waterfall, you're close to the hamlet.
These are miscellaneous locations within Hoshido. They can be anywhere from a forest, to a desert, to an unnamed town.
