"E-Eek!" Lisette squealed, her body moving forward and hurriedly rushing to the ground, as she made a small misstep into the ground below. It took her a second, but she got back to her feet. Shaking her head back and forth, dirt seemed to fly free. She really hated this, and as she got back to her feet, she checked her satchel.
The little taguel was very unhappy about her business around here, but it was necessary. Recently she ran out of a brand of buttons, that her only supplier, lived in one of the Hoshidan villages. The horrible thing was, she had a sense of direction, akin to that of a blind child. Perhaps that's exaggerating, however, either way, when she lost the path, there was no real way for her to find her way back to safety.
She swabbed at her dress... She was going to be scrubbing stains out of this for weeks, and as she looked forward, she saw something through the trees... A river.
Wait there was a river nearby here!?
Her face went white, but exhausted, she reluctantly paused, and heading a bit further, towards the river, she looked both directions... There was only river and forest, as far as the eye could see... This wasn't good.
The man walked through the forest with ease. It wasn't quite like his desert home, but just being outside felt much better to him than being surrounded by the walls of buildings and seas of crowded people. His hands rested upon his head nonchalantly as he hummed to himself. Raziel seemed to be in a world all his own, yet he was not. Alert like always. The man's past had left deep scars on his heart and mind.
The sound of a woman shouting caught his ears. He could hear rushing in the distance, the sound of the snaps of branches and the rush of water. Raziel started moving. His hands lowered to his sides and he rushed to where he heard the sound of the woman in the woods. The river stood between them. Raziel hopped onto a fallen tree that branched out over the river and shouted to the girl. "Are you alright?" he called out, his voice getting carried by the rush of the river.
Lisette, seeing a figure walking across a tree over the river, was filled with a bit of confusion. Her ears just couldn't quite pick up what was said, but the way he was hurrying across concerned her. Was this person... Dangerous?
Her face showed fear, as she cowered a bit. Lisette wasn't sure she wanted to wait and find out, and hurriedly turned tail, and dashed back into the wood. It wasn't long before she tripped once again... But this time was different... It was as if she heard a growl...
Turning around, she saw what she had just tripped on... A wolf... And it was looking ready to attack.
"E-Eh?!" She panicked, before letting out a loud shriek, hurriedly clawing backwards and anyway. "I-I'm gonna die..."
The situation went from bad to worse as the girl suddenly encountered a wolf hiding in the brushes. Raziel's movements were fast. He leapt from the over hanging tree and into the shallows of the narrow river. "Get back!" He warned the girl. The man stood in front of the wolf with his armother spread out in front of the girl, blocking her. He stood still then, staring down the wolf, hoping that it would see that it was out numbered and now against a larger more dangerous opponent.
Lisette quickly clawed away, and behind a tree. She didn't even get up from the ground, as she stared in terror. Her body couldn't help but tremble, as she clung to the tree, and watched this, wondering how the man seemed so calm...
The wolf however, functioned a bit differently. It immediately turned its attention to the tall man, and gnashed its teeth.

With a jump, the wolf hit against Raziel, and biting and clawing, it aggressively tried to harm the man.
The man latched onto the wolf that had dug itself into him. The strength of the beast's jaws wasn't enough to make him flinch. Raziel balled up his fist and buried it into the animal's face, knocking it aside. The two were evenly matched. Raziel could see that another attack from the wolf would be a little stronger. He smirked and ran his fingers along the wound he received from the wolf. Man vs wolf. It was time to see who would last longer. An animal like this wouldn't be enough to make him transform.

Lisette peered nervously, she wasn't quite sure if the man could take such a beast.
The wolf, on the other hand, flying to the side, quickly recovered, before preparing for another attack.

Landing a hit with ease, the wolf had latched its teeth upon the man's leg, pulling as if it desired to rip a chunk off. Honestly it probably did, being the horrendous beast it was.
The man winced at the wolf's attack to his leg. Raziel kicked out, shaking the beast off his leg and then swung down hard onto the wolf's back. This was getting annoying. The beast should have run off by now, yet it stayed. Raziel took a deep breath. He could win this with ease, but the time it would take would be a waste.
He rolled his eyes. Raziel's body began to twist and transform. He crouched onto the ground and wings pulled from his back. The man that once stood there was replaced with a dragon nearly twice his size.

He swung for the wolf again, stronger, faster. Yet he hesitated, giving the creature just a moment to run away before he was to make contact.

The wolf seemed to tremble, giving a whimper before running away from the strange dragon beast, in a hurry, with its tail tucked behind it.
Lisette on the other hand, could help but stare in shock, her eyes becoming rather wide. She had been peeking from behind the tree, but suddenly having a feeling she shouldn't of seen something like this, she looked away. That person was... A Manateke...?
She didn't want to think about it, as she tried to remain hidden, hoping that the man just assumed that... Well that she had ran away, maybe?
The dragon gave a snort as the wolf ran away. Thank goodness for that. Raziel flapped his massive wings and stretched his body out. It felt like it have been so long since he last let his true self out. "I apologize for that," he spoke. His voice echoed from deep in his throat. He had already began to transform back into a human.
A few trees had branches snapped and broken, and other weaker foliage in the area had been torn aside. Raziel dusted off his coat with his hand. With a look up, he saw the rabbit child, shyly hidden away behind tree. With his own injuries ignored, the manakete walked to the woman with his hand out. His voice had become much softer than it had been when he first arrived. "Are you okay?"
Lisette shivered a bit, as she heard the voice, not moving from behind the tree, until she suddenly saw a hand outstretched towards her. Her eyes focused on it for a moment, and hearing a question as such, she struggled to form a reply. Her eyes darted upward, as she remained rather nervous.
"I-I'm fine..." the girl mumbled, as she looked back at the ground, sheepishly using the hand outstretched, to pull herself up. He was so much taller than her... It was a bit freaky for her to see. After all, she was relatively short... But... This guys was over a foot taller than her.
"Th-Thank you... You saved my life..." She said awkwardly, as her eyes stayed glued to the ground.
A lot of people were small to Raziel. This woman was extremely small. "I had to help. I came walking by just in time." Her tiny hand fit easily in the palm of his hand, almost as if she was a child. With her steady back on her feet, Raziel examined her a bit more closely. His hand reached out and pat her head gently, removing a few leaves that had gotten tangled into her hair. "Are you lost?" he asked. He had many other questions for her, like why was she alone in the woods. This girl looked as though she had no defenses whatsoever.
Lisette awkwardly tensed up, as the man touched her hair, it was only then that she realized something. Her hat must've fallen... Her eyes widened a bit, as she scanned the ground, before seeing her hat, near where the wolf first attacked her.
"U-Uh... Probably..." She said, before glancing up towards his face. "I-I kind of... Well I had to leave my home to get s-supplies! And I... I was going back, but umm... I didn't know there was suppose to be a... River..." Her words seemed jumbled, as her breathing was hurried from what had just happened earlier.
Awkwardly moving a few feet away, she picked up her hat, off of the ground, and started dusting it off.
"Supplies," the man held back a laugh at that. The only thing he could think of was a rabbit out in the woods scavenging. He thought that most laguz were more resourceful than that. A beast was only part of them. The human part allowed them to be smarter, faster than most animals. "It was foolish for you to go out on your own," he scolded the girl. He had only just met her, but since the initial shock of the wolf attack was over, he felt it right.
He watched her movements. She was light and dainty like the rabbit she was. And she was awfully dressed up for a taguel. "I will accompany you home," he told her. It wasn't a suggestion. The tone of his voice was enough to tell her that she had no say in the matter.
As Lisette got scolded, she seemed to skulk a bit, as she started to get a tad less nervous. Of course, he says that it was unwise to go alone, and she agreed, but... It wasn't honestly like she had much of a choice. It costed a lot to hire a guide, and to be entirely honest, she didn't have anyone she could've asked to come with her. But as this man said he'd come with, her eyes widened.
"U-Um! You don't have to do that, it's a really long ways away, and uh..." It took a moment for her to realize how tall and strong he seemed... And to think she could argue with this.
"I live in um... Cyrkensia." Her voice muttered out, as she pressed her hands together, looking to the side. She didn't want to trouble the stranger.
