"Cyrkensia." Raziel rubbed his chin as he repeated the name of the town. Truth be told he didn't quite know where that was. But it couldn't have been too far away from here. How far could this woman really wander to get lost? "Truth be told, I'm just a wanderer myself." He didn't ask for payment, and wouldn't. All he would ask for out of this was a meal, even a small meal would suffice for the man.
He held out his hand for the woman to take so he could lead them through the forest back to where he knew the path would be, but when he turned to walk his leg gave a bit of protest. His lip twitched, trying to hide his obvious wince. Raziel leaned against a tree for some support and tore at his old, worn dirty coat. A strip long enough to wrap around his leg was torn and tied around himself to bind it. Raziel tested it with a bit of pressure. "Shall we?"
Lisette felt a bit bad, that this man genuinely seemed like he wanted to help her, after all, she didn't exactly deserve such a thing. But she couldn't help but appreciate such a thing. Grabbing his hand awkwardly, a look of concern, immediately made it's way onto her face, as she saw him bind his injury. Her voice began to ring out with an, "Are you okay?"
He was a bit surprised when she asked about his leg. Raziel had secretly been hoping she would be carrying some kind of healing herbs on her. She didn't offer if she had them. The man gave a genuine smile, "Yes, miss. I'll be fine." He walked a bit more to prove his point, before he turned to her again. "What is your name, little miss?"
She sighed in relief, as he seemed to proceed, as though he were fine. Quickly walking after him, she gave a smile. "My name's Lisette!"
She was starting to get over her initial fear, from everything that had been happening. Tilting her head a bit, as she glanced upward at the man, she returned the question. "What's your name?"
Her feet kept walking, not quite knowing where she was going. Most likely it was the exact wrong way.
"It is wonderful to meet you Miss Lisette." As he moved, the man bowed himself forward lightly in a playful greeting. "You may call me Raziel." He didn't offer for much more conversation. Instead something dawned on him. Raziel had crossed the river to get to the girl. His road was nowhere in the same direction. He chuckled in his throat and shook his head. He had been foolish. Hopefully there weren't any towns nearby. He needed to get to a higher ground, a birds, no dragons eye view of the forest below. This girl had already seen him once. It would be no harm to do it again.
"Excuse me, I don't mean to frighten you." Raziel released her hand and stepped away from her. "I'm going to get us some directionsort. Stay." They man transformed and left her so he could scout the area.
Lisette was pleased to see that the man who pretty much saved her life, seemed polite enough. She commonly expected people to be rude to her, so this was rather a nice twist. The short taguel, unaware of any real dilemma, spoke nicely. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Mister Raziel!"
As he let go of her hand, she watched, her eyes widening a bit, as she witnessed the man transform into a dragon. It was honestly pretty neat to see. "Alright, good luck!" Her voice rang out, as she watched him fly off. Her eyes nervously scanned her surroundings, as she looked within her bag, once again, to confirm her buttons were in there. She hoped he wouldn't take too long, it was very possible for another wolf, or something worse, to attack.
He scanned the area, flying low against the tops of the trees. They were deeper in the woods than he had imagined, but heading north he was able to locate a road. The would atake least get them onto some road. A road meant they would hit a town. And from the town they could get directions to wherever they needed.
The man landed beside the girl once again. "North," he told her. "That's the direction we need to go. Have you ever used the sky to navigate?" Raziel had transformed back into a human and pointed up at the sun. He turned his hand away slightly to point right from the evening sun. "It should be an hour walk, depending on the terrain." Hopefully she would be okay.
As he came back the girl nodded awkwardly. "U-Um, I never have really, I barely travel, but well it'll take an hour, so we better hurry!" Lisette seemed a bit shocked, she didn't expect that she had strayed that far from the path. She didn't question it though, because she never knew how lost she was, when she got lost.
"As thanks for all your help, maybe when we reach Cyrkensia, I can sew you some new clothes, or something like that!" She suggested this nicely, with a nod of her head. "Er provided you'd actually like something like that."
"It could take less time," he told her. He lifted his arms behind his head and walked with a noncholant air to him. Maybe the fight with the wolf had made him a bit cocky. Like he could easily deal with anything. The man looked at the clothing he was wearing. His coat was worn and torn, but it was very much his. He had it with him though all his long journeys. "What's wrong with my clothes?" he asked. Though his tone was serious, there was a hint of a mild grin that was spreading across his lips. He needed some kind of entertainment for the road.
"I guess that could happen." The girl mumbled to herself, as she kept a quick pace, her short legs made it harder to keep up. Beside this guy, she couldn't help but feel like a child, the height different was real.
But as soon as he continued to speak, her expression went to that of panic.
"Th-That's not what I meant!" Her eyes widened, as she looked up awkwardly, her voice rushing out as she rapidly tried to explain her point. "U-Um, I'm a tailor, I make clothes, and err.. I mean everyone can use more clothes right? Right! That's right! But uh, if you don't want clothes, that's fine too!"
"A tailor?" That explained a lot about her. From the frilly outfit she wore to the way she so carelessly got lost in the woods. He didnt think much for fashion. "I'm afraid additional items would just slow me down," he replied. "Having too much on me could be dangerous. And besides, clothing for me isnt exactly cheap." He gave a hearty laugh. "What would you have planned?"
The girl nodded quietly, as he mentioned he didn't seem to want more clothing, and also the fact his clothes wasn't cheap. He was huge so that did make an awful lot of sense.
"Well um... I can make lots of clothing, so we really could go with anything! I mean I could make some normal-ish clothes, or Hoshidan clothes, or Nohrian clothing, formal clothes, extra formal clothes, casual clothes, or even something like what ya got right now!" She gave a smile upward, as she went along energetically.
"Oh and if you don't want new clothes, I can always fix up some of the seams of your current clothing! Loose seams is never good news!" She chirped this out, seriously, it was clear that she found it to be a horrible thing to have loose seams in clothing.
The excitement she had when talking about her job was refreshing. She listed off as much as she could in what seemed like a single breath. "You must be very talented Miss Lisette." He couldn't just turn her down now. There was probably something she could do for him. Loose seams. Huh.. "I suppose I can take you up on your offer when we get you back home. My jacket does have a few holes in it."
She seemed to beam all the more, as he seemed to accept her offer. "Excellent! You made the right choice, I'll fix it up, so it looks brand new!" Her voice cheered, as her pace quickened in excitement. "And it'll of course be on the house, you saved my life after all!"
The rest of the trip seemed to go on with ease. There had been a few moments where a rustle within the bushes would put thr man on guard, but whatever had been tailing them had never made its move. They moved making good time until the dirt path could be seen through the leafy trees of the woods. Raziel pushed the branches to the side for her. "Does this look familiar?"
