“Huh! That’s quite young,” the Madame chuckled as she rose from her seat, “You would be naught but a baby if you were a manakete, but much more child-like is your understanding of the longevity of my kin! Two-thousand is simply the beginning of young adulthood, and oh, there are only so few of them that have even reached a thousand.” She pointed at herself with her thumb, “I am over three-thousand years old, and after which point, decided it was too irritating a number to remember in completion.” chrim

At that comment on his age he'd give a slight chuckle as well. "I'd suppose I am still pretty young, huh? And yeah I can see how counting your age for so long would get boring or tiresome after even a couple thousand years.. In fact I'll probably stop counting my age at around six or seven hundred." Chuckling a bit more after saying that he'd switch his position to instead being somewhat curled up with his tail covering him somewhat like a very small blanket.
"Oh yeah. This might be good to mention. But at what time should we head back to the inn? After all I don't want to be seen without my cloak on in the day since I am in nohr and I left the thing in my room at your inn since I didn't want it to get damaged or lost during my hunting."

“Mmm...” she nodded, “At that point, you just etch another scratch at the turn of the year. That’s how I’ve done it, anyway...”
The Madame coiled her wing arms behind herself and pushed up against her back. An audible cracking noise came from her back, as she let out a little spurt of fire from her mouth.
“You’re right,” she said with a nod, “We should head back while the night will cloak our travel.”
In that next instant, she transformed into her dragon form, and with one pound of her giant wing arm, the fire was immediately put out.
“Chrim,” her voice had once again changed to a deeper, yet less hostile tone, “I thank you. There are few opportunities where I may run wild like the beast I am. For that, allow me to give you a proper place for you to ride as we head back home.” She lowered her neck down, “Climb upon my head, grab onto my horns, and let me show you the beauty of flight.” chrim

"Heh. Thanks for the advice, I might do so when I age enough." Smiling a bit he'd give a light yawn before also getting up as the Madame does. Then nodding to what is said about leaving while the night still cloaks them he'd be about to transform himself so they can make their own ways into the town, but would stop himself at hearing her offer.
"That... Would actually make things a lot easier for me since I won't have to sneak around half the city to get back. And I thank you for the offer Madame." Placing a hand on one of her horns he'd continue still on the ground. "But if anything happens while we are flying like archers or wyvern riders, then feel free to throw or drop me off at the nearest tree. I'm sure I'd be able to grab onto it the and survive a fall long as it's not too high." Chuckling at that he'd nimbly jump/pull himself onto her head.

“Oh, you,” the Madame chuckled, “I’d like you to hold on as tight as you can...” Her body lowered to the ground, “My ascents were never the most... comfortable.” Like a coiled spring, she shot high into the air at an incredible speed, spreading her wings wide as she proceeded to glide down over the forest.
“How are we?” she inquired as she glanced to the top of her head. “Most people get thrown off, and actually, I can’t tell if you’re still up there!”chrim

Deciding it may be best to listen to her advice he'd grip her horns a bit tighter before turning his head slightly at another thing mentioned. "They aren't the most comfortable? How would one be uncomfortabl-..!?" However his question was quickly answered due to the quick rise into the sky and since he had not ridden a manakete or flown any other way. So he quickly found himself all the way from holding her horns to instead latching onto the Madame's tail quickly and would stay quiet and still for a couple seconds until he soon hears her speak.
So his reply would come back from a bit further than from her head. "Thanks for checking on me, but I'm still here. So feel free to continue the flight back at your usual pace." While speaking chrim would slowly start to make his way back up with his claws only slightly extended so as to have a better grip but not extended enough to puncture her hide/skin under the scales.

Having realized he was latched onto her tail, the Madame let out a gasp, then a cheerful laugh. “Whoopsie-daisy! How lucky you are! Well, how about we readjust you really quick...”
She stopped her flight in midair and hovered in the sky as she flicked her tail up to her arms, wrapping her “hands” around the kitsune’s torso. “I’ve got you now, so you can let go. Better off that I carry you than you dangling like a fish on a hook!”
She therefore proceeded her flight pattern toward Macarath. chrim

"Well some luck and a bit of reflexes helped me out. Course now that I know how quick you fly up I should be able to hold on a lot better next time if this happens again."
Though he'd not laugh due to it being a bit dangerous at the time for him, he'd still chuckle lightly at being seen as a fish on a hook, and seeing the she'll be holding him now he'd unlatch himself from her tail as she'd grab him. "So the flight will be like the first time you carried me then, except I'm not in my kitsune form. Well it should be a bit more relaxing for me since you aren't mad at me now, and thanks."
So with that said he'd look out at the view since he isn't holding on for his life anymore... And though he may be a bit terrified due to the height, it does feel kind of nice with the wind hitting you and being able to see for miles around.

Thus, the two of them flew back to Macarath in almost no time at all, and alighted silently upon the rooftop. After having bid each other a good night, they withdrew to the comfort of their rooms. chrim
