Indignation is a Fire Emblem Roleplay. It takes place within the Outrealms as worlds collide and kingdoms wage an endless war. However, amongst the quarrels of men do the horrors of the Outrealm reach in to kill and destroy. Fight alone or join forces with other warriors as we create dramatic tales or wage war!

There was a brief flash of light as the Madame’s body transformed once again into a dragon, and as such she proceeded to leap into the sky and open her sable wings. She circled the forest like a vulture, seeking out prey upon the ground...
It’s just... simply too soon. The one time I let my guard down, this happens. Why does life have to work like this? Come on...
Eventually, her eyes locked. There was a herd of wild cattle that had taken shelter within the forest. One silent, swift swoop later, there was a fattened bull missing from their numbers. The creature struggled in the dragon’s grasp, yet the head was bitten down upon and forcefully twisted around so that it was ripped from its body.
The dragon swung back around and proceeded back to the clearing, landing with a quietly gust upon the floor. Before she would feast, she used her wing arms to hide the messy mastication from Chrim’s eyes. Nevertheless, the sounds of meat tearing and bones crunching was unmistakable. When she had finished, there was naught left but a pool of blood, with bits and pieces of meat, innards, and bone on the ground.
”Shaaaaaaah...!” came a gurgly hiss. A light burp escaped her maw, “Excuse me.” chrim

Noticing the bright light from her transforming and hearing the sound of her lifting off into the sky, chrim would uncover his face as he'd look up and then back to the boar that she brought with them earlier. Even though the smell of it is mouthwatering it was never said if he could still have it or not. So giving a light sigh the kitsune would go back to how they were curled up previously until she returns.
Which only took a minute or two at the most but she was quickly back with what seemed to be a headless bull. At least that's what he thinks it was since the Madame quickly hid it's body from him as she went to eat it somewhat loudly and not much was left after she finished. Course hearing her burp he would crack a light smile but would hold back the light chuckle he would usually give in a situation like this. "It's fine. After all it's normal to feel satisfied after a nice meal." Even though he want's to say more he holds himself back due to how he would most likely switch what he's talking about randomly in this form.

The Madame licked her chops and her claws with a rough, forked tongue, “Mmm, yes... that is much, much better.” She raised her head back to the fire, then to the boar corpse. “Oh? I think it would’ve been safe to assume that I was going to feed myself, but you held back for my sake, did you?” She motioned her claw to him, “Please eat, my own prey was enough to sate my hunger and thirst. Especially—“ Another flash of light as she turned back into her manakete form, although her belly seemed to be a little more plump, “—Like this. Oof!” She walked over to the fire and plopped herself down, “Aaaah, what a relief.” chrim

Hearing that he is allowed to eat the boar after all he would seem to grin happily and let out an uncharacteristic yip before getting up, moving over to the boar's corpse and tearing into his own meal once more. Even though he already ate some of it earlier he still takes a bit longer to eat it fully probably due to being a kitsune rather than a dragon. But finally finishing he would seem to let out a soft and very slight purr of contentment before also going over to the fire and curling up beside it would start to groom himself.
"Thank you for letting me eat my boar. I still remembered what you said earlier about it now being yours so, I didn't know if I could still eat it even though the smell was so appetizing~" Saying this he'd seem to give a soft chuckle before looking to her and tilting his head slightly. "Although now that food is out of the way. What is it that you'd like to talk about since you asked me to stay here and wait for you? At least I assume you want to talk about something Madame?"

“Mmm...” the manakete drummed and rubbed her swollen belly with an incredibly content look on her face, “Mmmmm... mmmm... what do we want to talk about.... ahhhh... hmm... urp!”
It seemed that she had abandoned all of her lady-like decorum from earlier.
“Hey, hey, Chrim, come over by the fire,” she patted the ground next to her with an uncharacteristically cheerful vibe, “I won’t bite.” chrim

The first thing he'd notice is that she seems a bit more relaxed than before. Course that could be a ruse or she really was quite hungry. But seeing as there doesn't seem to be much hostility detected if any at all, Chrim would happily get up from his spot and moving around the fire would instead lay next to her.
"Yes? Did you need something Madame?" Asking her this he'd go back to relaxedly grooming himself of the blood on his fur from earlier.

When he was settled beside her, the Madame dug herself a little deeper into her seat, using the membrane on her wing arms as a blanket.
“Well, not really,” she responded as she kicked her legs back and forth, “Although... no, I do need something.” She turned her head to him, “First, I’d like to know why you’d want to leave your little hamlet out in Hoshido, errr, and why you even came to NOHR of all places! "Ah. Well actually my family and a few other kitsune decided to make another home on one of the neutral territory mountains. So I don't think I would be part of either country if you go by birthplace. Anyways I decided to leave due to hearing good and bad things about various parts of the land outside of my home, so curiosity got the best of me back then." Chuckling lightly he would then let out a slight sigh at seeming to remember another thing.
"Yeah I was a pretty naive kid back then even with all the warnings I was given. In fact I actually started exploring Nohr first to see if what I heard about the place were true or not..."

I love to adventure, to see the world and experience all of its culture... ah, yes, and since three hundred years ago, I’ve had a penchant for it. Since I have wings, I flew everywhere, seeking out new things and learning from my mistakes. It took a long, long while before I was able to assimilate into human society, but that was just part of that maturing process.“ chrim

"Heh. I suppose it is, isn't it?" Giving a soft chuckle he wouldn't look to the sky as well but instead look to the fire and continue to listen to her as she would soon talk again.
However hearing what she says his ears would perk up slightly at a few different things until the Madame seems to finish speaking. "You know. If you want to, perhaps we could go on an adventure of our own if you haven't already seen everything this land has to offer?" Stretching out a bit he'd seem to yawn before settling back down in a comfortable position next to Madame. "Actually that might be a bit much to ask since you have the inn and your public appearance to contend with and we still don't know eachother to well.. I just feel like I can trust you, also you don't smell like a bad person either."

“Maybe,” she answered with a shrug of her shoulders, “Being the proprietor of an establishment has its perks, though. I can easily ask Janette to take over management and have another person act as secretary. Why, I could even go so far as plant another inn someplace else!” She placed a hand on her lips as she let out a funny titter, “Hohoho! That’s a plan for another time. For now, I should establish myself in Macarath for a steady supply of passive income.” She tilted her head on the ground, “Eh, I wouldn’t want to be too rich, though. I don’t want other pretentious aristocrats nipping at my heels...”
She pulled herself up onto a seating position with a grunt, “... And the last thing I want is to catch the eye of King Garon. That in itself is too much trouble to stay in Nohr for...” chrim

"Hmm, perhaps some other time we can adventure then." Nodding slightly the kitsune would continue to relax by the fire listening to Madame talk until the king of nohr is mentioned, afterwords he would seem to shiver slightly along with give a very slight whine of mixed fear and concern. "I have heard many things that I hope are stories about that 'man'... I hope that most if not all of them are false, but if they are not then I don't think the word man or even human should apply to that thing." Even though he'd continue to shiver, chrim would let out a growl as if he hated the thought of him.
"If an event like that happens and he is as bad as is said. Then call on me if he does have his eye caught by you. I'd at least give you a few seconds to get away so you aren't captured or enslaved again before I myself am killed or captured. However I hope I'd be able to bite an arm off of him if an event like that does unfold." Continuing to growl lightly he'd keep watching the fire as he would now slightly bare his teeth at it, as if Garon was the flame itself.

“Whaaaaat, no!” the Madame slapped his arm gently, “That kind of sacrifice makes me sad. I desire that every one of my comrades lives to fight another day. It pains me to see or hear of the death of a friend.”
She folded her legs toward herself and wrapped her arms around them, “... I don’t know about you... but being able to live far longer than the average man... you have to see a lot of people, friends, good, close friends, come and go. You see them wax and wane after years go by and...” she sighed heavily, “Haaa... how old are you now, Chrim?”

"I'll think on what you said if something like it does happen. However, it is a mercenary's job to keep their employer safe until they them-self think they should retreat." Swishing his tail to the sides he'd calm himself from his earlier thought's as Madame talks a bit about living long and losing friends.
So giving a soft sigh Chrim would think for a second before he himself speaks. "Having a long life does come at it's own price at times even if you can do so much during it.. And Kitsune may not live as long as dragon's or manakete, but some have been heard to make it to two-thousand. I myself am just... One-hundred and thirty-two I believe?" Tilting his head lightly he'd give a slight shrug. "Well it's somewhere close to that, but I also know some about loss due to time, fighting or even a couple other means."
