His head was in pain. The man stirred and rubbed the back of his head with a gentle groan. He couldn't recall what happened. With a wince of his face, his eyes opened. He was in a cage. There was a woman with him. A woman he did not know. Her appearance was striking. Just looking at her, Raziel knew. This could be a dream. The only thing that tipped him off to it was the woman he was with. He turned his eyes away from the woman without a second thought. These gates played tricks on people. Raziel didn't understand how they worked. He wondered what kind of magic went into it. Dragon's were no more. He looked at his shackled fists and balled up his hands. The memories flooded in. He would never belong to some one else ever again. The mage could be seen across the room. He didn't seem to register that the two dragon's had awoken. The man kept his voice low and spoke to the woman. "Are you okay?"
Perhaps she had become overconfident as she had stepped through the portal. The last mark had been a simple trifle with Sir Deacon...
But this time? It was a different matter altogether. She couldn't remember what had happened to have led up to this point, nor was she capable of any cognitive recognition of any sort. Her mind was in a haze, as it was with her vision. For a few minutes, it all made no sense, yet little by little, her vision became clear. She saw a tall man in exotic dress sitting by her side, with skin of a certain tan, much like her own. His ears... how strange, her eyes could be fooling her... his ears were very much like hers.
Could it be...? No, it couldn't. She hasn't seen another like herself in... forever.
"... Who..." she murmured quietly. She slowly sat up and attempted to motion her hands to her eyes to rub them, but to her dismay, she was cuffed, much like her partner in chains. "... bollocks..." Raziel

He lifted his hands up high enough so he could place a finger on his lips. The motion urged her to stay silent. He tilted his head to motion over to the mage. The man's plans for the two of them were unclear, but Raziel wasn't going to stick around to find out. A normal person would be in trouble. But Raziel was far from normal. His gaze fell onto his own shackles once again. They were brittle and rusted over. With enough force, he should be able to break it.
The shackles fell from his wrist, freeing him from this prison. In that moment, the mage decided to approach. The dragon quickly put his hands together to hide his escape.
“It finally worked!” A mage smiles. “You have no idea how long I've waited for you.” His excitement was pretty apparent. Raziel met the man with a hard, golden gaze. He said nothing. Why should he?
"A talkative bunch," the mage frowned. "Things are almost ready for you two. I didn't think I'd get sacrifices this large~"d4x9·d100xvz|PdD2
Sacrifices... sacrifices... me? Him? A sacrifice? A sacrifice for what?! Who in their right mind would force someone into becoming a sacrifice without their consent... no, why do it at all? He was a madman!
The woman's face contorted as a deep sense of hostility bloomed inside her mind and chest.
"In that case..." she hissed, "I hope you aren't disappointed with what happens next." Her torso coiled inwards, and her body flashed with light. Immediately after, her form dramatically changed to that of a dragon, breaking her bonds and destroying their cell!

"What!?" The mage gasped in shock. "A dragon?" The man didn't quite know how to react. His excitement initailly grew. And then it faded away when the woman gave a loud roar. He knew he was in trouble. The man tried to scramble away but the dragon attacked him with a whip of her tail.
"Heh." It was as Raziel had thought. The woman's massive form shattered the cage they had been in and Raziel was free to attack the mage as well. His body twisted and turned into a massive dragon as well. The poor mage peed his pants looking into the face of two dragons. Raziel whipped his tail out in a way similar to the woman. vXK4ACsLd100

The man was hit up against a wall. He drew in a sharp breath. Lightning crackled at his hands. But he was weak. With the last bit of his energy he pointed his hand at the woman. d100
He couldn't do it.
The man gave a single look to the mage. d100
And the mage fainted.
The dragon brushed off his clothing and looked to the female. "Not bad."d100·d100·d100
With the mage's mouth gurgling foam, the woman returned herself to her human form, then took a good hard look at the other manateke in utter curiosity.
Things were clearer now after her transformation, thus her investigation of her comrade came full force. She ran up to him, circled around him, grabbed his arm, released it, circled around again... this continued for a few more seconds before she stopped in front of him.
He was very, very tall... was he a giant variation? His dragon form was quite the size compared to her own.
"Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!" she hummed with great interest, she tapped his bare abs with intrigue, then looked up at his face and suddenly hopped back, "Ah... sorry. I've never seen another manateke like myself in... too long. Forever." She inclined her head toward him, "I don't know if I am dreaming or not... but if this is the latter, I would like your name." Raziel

The man stood as still as a stone while the woman looked him over. His eyes followed her every movement while she poked and prodded at him. She was very much like a child who was experiencing something for the very first time. Yet her touch, though intruding, filled Raziel with a warmth. Another manakete. Huh. He reached out his arm and touched the woman gently on her hands. The trials of the gate had been cleared. Already the scenery around them was starting to fade away. The two of them were left alone in the middle of this nothingness.
"It has been long," he told her. Figment of a gate or an actual manakete. Raziel had followed a false sense of hope for a long time. "Raziel," he introduced himself, "of Caplayca." The kingdom had fallen a millennia ago.
Raziel of Caplayca... fascinating. A place she had never even read of in book of history.
This man... he was no doubt far more ancient than herself. An immense level of respect for his eldership bloomed in her chest, beside the joy that bubbled to the top of her being.
"I am Hadassah of the nomadic Judaico," she introduced with a gentle bow, "I have no words for the... the pleasure of... of meeting an elder..." Drops began to hit the ground as a result of her elation.

"Judaico," the man repeated. It was a location he had heard of but hadn't seen in its prime. Only after its destruction did he happen across the lands. It was a pity to see what had happened. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Hadassah." He had thought that the tribe had suffered a fate similar to his own. Yet one had stood in front of him now. He reached out and wiped at the woman's tears as they fell from her eyes until his hand traced gently against the large scar that ran across her face. A curious look in his eyes as he wondered how it happened. He saw no other scars upon the woman's body in that quick glance over. He remembered it. Her. Every detail about her, Raziel remembered while he was whisked away to the lands of Hoshido where he resided.
Hadassah cleared her tears with her wrist and regained herself. "Yes... yes, it's wonderful to meet you as well, elder. I wish the circumstances were a little better..." Her face brightened at the sudden prospect, "Would it be possible for us to meet again outside of this wretched place?" Raziel

"Be strong, little one," the man smirked at that. He hadn't spoken to somebody as timeless as he was in a very long time. Still, he made a jab at the woman's younger age. "If this isn't a dream, then yes," he reassured the woman. "I will one day find you. And with that said, the world and the woman inside of it, faded away.
Raziel shot up from the ground. The glowing gate nowhere to be seen. He looked his body over instantly and thought of the woman. His hands had still been wet from her tears. He clenched his fist tightly. And grinned. There were more out there just waiting for him.
