This is me pitting my characters against each other. This is simply just to see how each of them fair in a simulated combat situation.

Observation
In this projection, should all hits be successful, even a knight is capable of taking on a witch of the same level. However, due to the fact that there was an unequal amount of HP, the victor was clear. On another note, the advantage of a lance user vs. a tome user also played into this match. Even if it were the bare minimum, the knight was able to barely, just barely, land a hit on the first phase. It was an impressive match for me due to that fact.
Given the knight's naturally low magic resistance (RES 1), his matchup against most mages would seem bleak. However, given his opponent, the witch, also had low physical defense (DEF 1), the odds were favorable as both would deal the same amount of damage. It was a battle of attrition, but as stated before, HP was the biggest factor. Should they have had the same number of hit points, the witch surely would've won due to her higher speed. Also, a witch is also an offensive support class, and should never tackle an enemy alone, especially if that opponent is a physical fighter.
On that end, this is only one sample of battle. Other factors, such as critical hits and missed moves were not projected, and weapons used were the standard that was received by the admins. This was a straight on match between equally-leveled characters with standard equipment and skills.

Observation
Critical hits are just as anyone would imagine. Doubled might on low defense can be potentially fatal. Given the nature of the attack, it's a good thing that they're given an extremely slim chance in a single dice roll. Of course, if one's SKL is much higher, battles may end fairly quickly.
That is, if the user is lucky enough. Roll and cross your fingers!
