Indignation is a Fire Emblem Roleplay. It takes place within the Outrealms as worlds collide and kingdoms wage an endless war. However, amongst the quarrels of men do the horrors of the Outrealm reach in to kill and destroy. Fight alone or join forces with other warriors as we create dramatic tales or wage war!

"This place is creepy." Mutters the brunette teen.
She had left home in efforts to help her family survive the war. If she sold poisons to the troops, she just might make enough to support her family. See her father died in the war and her mother is uh, also dead? Either way she has little to no money and three younger siblings to take care of.
Arthur had his back pressed to a tree, his head barely tilting past the trunk as he watched the young Hoshidan archer walk through the Forlorn woods. His expression was grim as he held his sword in his hand, the blade feeling heavy as he watched the apothecary wander through the woods. He knew what her goal was and he knew it would mean putting his country at a disadvantage in the war if he left her to her work, yet he still hesitated. She was too young, too young to be getting herself involved with the two nations' bitter clash. He had his orders, though, and he knew only punishment awaited if he didn't follow them.
"Sorry..." he mumbled before dashing quickly around the tree, holding his sword at his side to slash at the apothecary.

The young girl heard Arthur's boots crunching through the underbrush and turned to face the approaching Nohrian soldier as he slashed at her with his blade. She twisted out of the way, only the tip of his sword cutting a gash through her dress and on her leg. A scrap of cloth fell to the ground as blood trickled down her leg and Arti skidded to a stop past her. The girl was quick to respond, though, readying her bow and drawing at arrow, aiming down its shaft at the young man in front of her.

The arrow found its mark in Arthur's shoulder, making the young man jerk back slightly at the force. He grit his teeth and grabbed at the arrow to pull it out.

He broke the shaft of the arrow, though the head stayed embedded in his body. He cursed under his breath as he readied his sword and charged towards the girl again.

The sword slashed the girl's arm this time, causing her to cry out in pain before drawing another arrow and firing at Arti's back.

The arrow struck the back of Arthur's leg, causing him to stumble and fall to one knee. He reached down and tugged at the shaft of this arrow as well.

He snapped the arrow in half again, leaving the head behind before before turning and facing the girl. He took a few steady breaths as he recovered for a minute. She was putting up a better fight that he had thought she would.
Naito had been busy preparing for the war when he had heard of a new mission. Someone had been selling poisons to the army without consent from the commanders. As a captain, he really couldnt let this slide so he tracked the person down. Having arrived at the scene were she was last spotted he noticed a soldier fighting her. Well that was interesting, very interesting. Using his iron Naginata, he had decided to attack her from behind.
Chance to Hit Apothecary: 81% dQDTxny51-100 HIT, Round 1 for Naito 1/2 DMG: 6 Apothercary HP: 8/18
The naginata had sliced into the woman's back and caused her to start bleeding profusely.
Arthur blinked in surprise at the sudden appearance of the knight and slashing the girl across the back. It distracted her from finishing off the injured soldier just long enough for Arthur to charge at her, his sword at his side and aiming to stab into her chest.
His sword pierced through her stomach and he felt her body body go limp against him. He thought he heard her say something as her final breath left her body, though he couldn't understand her. Slowly, he lowered her body to the ground and pulled his sword from her body, retrieving a rag from his belt as he looked up at the knight who had come to assist him.
"Thanks for the save there," Arthur said, reaching up to the arrowhead in his shoulder. He tried to grab onto it, though what remained of the shaft had become slick with his blood. It would take a medic to get rid of it, but at least he would get back with good news.
