Indignation is a Fire Emblem Roleplay. It takes place within the Outrealms as worlds collide and kingdoms wage an endless war. The seeker had another arrow between her fingers. Before it dropped, her partner showed up. The kid hadn't moved. His tiny hands gripped his brother's collar. "I'm sorry." Serena muttered before taking lily's outstretched arm and whipped herself onto the pegasus.
Her stomach sat in place as they flew from the mountain. The burning city meant nothing. Their distance from the ground, forgotten. Serena's mind stood on the hill, stood with the person she murdered. That's what it was, murder.
"Get us out of here." She shouted to the wind.
The money didn't seem worth it now, but she wasn't going to turn it away. In fact, the only thing Serena wanted was to be out of Hoshido.
There was no reason for Mitsuko to inquire any further from the scene she'd witnessed between the huntress and those children. How ironic, the Pegasus rider thought.' How revolting ... ' After all their planning and precautions they where discovered not by armed guards but by some farm kids. While Mitsuko did not approve of having Serena kill two out of the three this wasn't the time nor place for a lecture. What was done was done and no amount of empty words would undo what she'd committed.
The black Pegasus gained altitude and at her command went on a steep, high speed dive heading towards the bottomless canyon. For the reminder of their journey Mitsuko remained quiet, mostly because she was focused on commandeering her mount and doing the navigating at the same time but also because she didn't want to share any exchange with Serena. Her first reaction was to give her a good scolding but now she was only filled with indifference towards this icy huntress.
In a matter of a few hours they where back in a Nohrian checkpoint across the border. The guards had been informed about their arrival so the ladies where escorted to receive their payments from the nearby treasury. Apparently there had been a breakthrough recently and the Nohrian armed had made gains on the bottomless canyon which explained why so many soldiers where heading to the East.
