The moment Mitsuko left the lounge she hurried back to the inn where she was lodged. Naturally she had to hurry up and get changed into her battle attire since these underground matches where messy affairs she didn't want to ruin her nice dress. The bronze spear she carried around was fitted with a rubber tip since she'd been told ahead of time that this was an ' exhibition' match and she desired to avoid unnecessary bloodshed.
With her weapon on hand Mitsuko went over to the stable for her mount- a black Hoshidan trough breed Pegasus that patiently awaited for its master's return. " Our time has come, my friend. Once we show these people how tough we are you wont have to worry about not having enough to eat. "
The girl caressed her loyal companion's neck, getting the saddle in place. Once preparations where complete she rode the winged stallion back where they agreed to meet for the encounter. " I am ready here. Let's go, Kurogane! " While it was nice to have an audience Mitsuko tried to focus on her opponent- a fellow diviner no doubt well aware he was at a fundamental disadvantage. There was just enough room to allow for the Pegasus to take off with an incredible speed. This young girl was holding into it with one hand almost without too much effort. Just like most experienced Sky knights she was supporting herself on her legs and only used one hand to steer Kurogane around.
In an instant this diviner was in range of her weapon so she went for a wide swing, commanding her Pegasus to turn away shortly after completing the offense maneuver.

"Oof!" Shura grunted as the lance struck him, "An excellent hit. Of course, as we are warming up, I imagine I haven't yet tasted your full strength. Prepare yourself, Nakajima! I shall attack, now!"

"Ha!"
Instead of an actual rat spirit, Shura threw a rubber ball with a badly drawn rat at the pegasus and hit the girl on her forehead.
Mitsuko's HP: 15/16
"Now!" the diviner exclaimed, "Let me feel your anger!" (Corrections: Mistuko's total MT is 8. Shura's DEF is 2, therefore total DMG is 6. Half damage makes that 3. Therefore, Shura's HP is indeed 13.)
" And why should I? I'm a really good mood right now. " Mitsuko was perfectly unaware that the chaotic nature of air combat often made her give her back to the enemy. Even while looking over her shoulder she wasn't able to react fast enough and was struck square on the back of her head by the dummy projectile. The girl stumbled forward, having momentarily lost her balance. A lesser rider would have simply fallen over to the side yet she was able to regain control.
There was something very different in which the way this girl fought in the air. Even with this limited space she was trying to move as far away from her opponent after taking a simple swipe. The moment a mild enough distance was created she made the Pegasus turn in mid air and went in for another furtive high speed approach. Holding back or not she couldn't exactly go for a thrusting attack so she went for another swipe once he was within range.

These high speed approaches only gave her a small window of opportunity to score a direct hit so in a way wide attacks like these where more accurate. They weren't really trying to tear each other apart, after all.
Even with how fast they where going in a straight-line it was near imposible for Mitsuko to even attempt to perform evasive maneuvers. Once again she was hit in her upper body. The lightweight armor she'd been wearing mitigated the hit but if that had been a real magical projectile the icy spell would have cracked the armored plate.
This time instead of going for another boom and zoom maneuver she commanded Kurogane to stay on top of target. While they flew overhead Mitsuko attacked with the read end of the lance aiming at the Diviners head. While not lethal it would still be rather painful to take one of those hits.
"Excellent..." he said with a nod, "I must concede defeat. You have done well." He glanced to the boss to see his expression.
Stoic. Was there something the matter?
"Hmmm!" West hummed as he slid his hand across his chin, "Well, she's particularly strong against your type of fighter, Mr. Shura, that much is sure..."
"Ah."
"But it matters not," the elf hopped off of his chair and strode down into the ring, "I'll give the benefit that Ms. Nakajima is quite competent as a combatant." He approached the pegasus rider and placed his hands on his hips, "Now! Unless you feel that was too easy for you, we can easily set up another fight and reset the parameters, otherwise we can discuss your joining of our delightful little crew!" Mitsuko
Now that her opponent yielded it was time to land Kurogane back on the ground. Mitsuko dismounted shortly afterwards, whipping the sweat off her forehead. " You did great, my friend." She showed her Pegasus proper appreciation by giving it an apple she'd just slices in half.
While she tended her equine friend needs West approached with an interesting proposition. " I don't particularly wish to cause anymore harm to my future colleagues. " Confident or not she'd only agreed to have one 'exhibition' match. It was his own fault for choosing someone she had the advantage against.
" I'm looking forward to start working for your company, West. I'm a little short on funds so the quicker I can start turning a profit the better." It was normal to think this Elf would still hav doubts concerning her loyalties. Hopefully she could win him over with hard work and dedication.
"Of course, of course," spoke West with a wave of his hand, "If you would be so kind as to follow me to my private study, we will begin our membership process. It won't be long, I assure you."
Fifi stepped down to the mat, "Oh, Weston~. What about her pegasus? We shan't have the poor darling cooped up again." She shook her head, "It's abhorrent to think that pegasus on the surface don't have a proper stable."
"Aha! Yes, you're right," the elf clapped his hands together and turned his head to Mitsuko, "We've developed a roomier stable for members who ride pegasi. I think you'll be impressed by it, yourself!" With that the elf beckoned for the two women to follow after him, "Let's go, shall we?" Mitsuko
