A heavily-cloaked figure moved silently through the alleyways of the port town. Her footsteps were deliberate and careful, paying mind to where she was and whence she was going. One could never be too careful in these towns; a skillful thief could be following behind while concealing their presence. The figure thought of herself as hardly worth the trouble as she was adorned in rags and such... a gaudy appearance only spelled trouble.
Hm? Was she being followed?
The woman turned her head to look behind her. No one. Phew.
She made a quick turn out into the street.
*CLANG!*
There was a sharp metal sound against the wall she had previously passed. Curses! She was being hunted all along.
The woman quickly assimilated into a crowd and gently turned her head back to scan the surroundings behind her within her peripheral vision.
There. Another fellow with a cloak. His eyes were glued onto her.
Tch... what a pest!
The woman's posture dropped slightly as she began moving within a larger crowd. Her cloak was left behind as a diversion as she entered a store with a small group.
Good lord. Immediately as she entered, her eyes were bombarded with gaudy clothing of all styles and colors!

As the people filed in the taguel shop keeper's expression turned into a giant smile, as she got up from what she was sewing, and gave a wave. "Hello everyone, if you need any assistance, feel free to ask me, I'll help with whatever you need~!" She said in a cheer, a couple of the group started to talk among themselves, discreetly pointing at her.
Lisette noticed, but was unfazed, she was used to people hating her, it was a thing in her life. Glancing upon the people who just enter however, something confused her...
Most people were dressed in something fancy, and expecting new things to wear, but a single person remained in some very... Unappealing clothes to say the least. They had to simply be for work though, Lisette would make sure to help this lady.
Walking over with a smile, she started to speak, "So do you have many dresses?" She said cheerfully, "Or better I mean, do you know what you're looking for today? I can help you pick a dress you'll love, if you'd like~!"
The young woman's eyes lit up at the sight of the dog-eared girl. A taguel? In this shop?
"H... hello," she murmured, she glanced back toward the door, then back to the taguel girl, "Ah, yes! Please, do pick something for me. Anything you imagine would look nice on me!" She started moving toward the dressing room in the back, then pulled the curtains closed immediately as she came in.
Of course, the woman hadn't noticed the tall mirror inside until she had turned around. She stared at in bewilderment, but she uttered no words.
This was the first time she's ever stood in front of one of these. While she had indeed looked at her reflection in a pool of water, a mirror provided the clearest likeness of a person...
... Huh! My hair is pretty nice... were my hips always this wide? Hmm... not too bad a figure, though... Lisette

Lisette watched awkwardly as the lady disappeared behind curtains. Must be shy, was her ultimate conclusion, as she thought for a second. The lady looked kind of plain, and seemed like the kind of person who'd look better in an elegant sort of gown, instead of something a bit different.
The little bunny girl dashed towards a different section of the little shop, and surfed through the dresses, until she found a brown dress, that was likely to reach the ankles of the person... Of course though, this wasn't everything necessary, a good highlight color would be cream, so she dashed over to pick up a short puffy sleeved blouse, and the proper petticoat for the outfit. Before she headed to the dressing room, Lisette grabbed a small brown bow, and with all of this in her arms, she ran to the changing room.
Lisette got up onto her tippy toes, to reach the thing from where the curtain hung, where she flipped all the clothes onto, so that the customer could reach.
"If you need any more help, just ask~!" Lisette chirped, as she tried to attend to her other customers.
While she had waited for the clothes, the young woman was shamelessly posing and making faces at the mirror.
Hohoho, I need to bring one of these back to the cave...
Then, she heard the taguel girl approaching. Her body turned to meet her, but the clothes were set over the curtains. Hmmm? These clothes... it's not a bad color...
A few moments later, she was wearing the clothing.
"Hmmm?" she said as she posed, "Ahhh? Ooooh..." She wasn't used to this kind of clothing, yet her eyes glistened in delight. It's not bad! She could see herself wearing these if she weren't making herself scarce. The young woman emerged from the dressing room with a little flare, "Hoho, how do I look?" Lisette

As the lady emerged, Lisette's head darted to glance over, her expression bright, as she looked at the happy customer, and darted over. "Wow you look really nice!" The girl exclaimed, as she glanced around, making sure the outfit was a good size, however it looked a teeny tiny bit too big, it would be hard to notice using an untrained eye.
"Wow you look amazing, that really suits you!" Lisette exclaimed, with a bit of a bounce, her hair bopping upwards in the process. "What do you think ma'am, is it to your taste?"
She spoke in a sweet and caring tone. She genuinely wanted to help the lady get a good product, and she was under the impression that the customer may be interested in buying one.
"Does it? Hohoho! I very much like it myself!" spoke the young woman with a silly pose, "Perhaps I can try on some more clothes? I like the way these look quite a lot. But... oh! How about something a little more exotic? Maybe even foreign? Hmm?" She wanted to test herself to see what she could wear aside from old swim clothes, anyway. After all, she had a lot of coins saved up.
It would be noted for someone who appears like an older teen, her voice sounded like a middle-aged woman. Those were the comments of those within the shop as well. Lisette

"Foreign?" Lisette spoke for a moment, before going to peer through the clothing, before finding a dark red kimono, fitted with some ruffles lined along the bottom of it, and dashing by again, she grabbed a more flowing white dress, one that only had light ribbons, as it seemed to just flow as it wished, without the assistance of a petticoat or anything.
Dashing back, and almost falling forward due to her speed, Lisette stopped right in front of the taller lady, and smiling upward, held out the two items she had. "Whaddayou think of these?" She chirped out.
She watched the girl move quickly across the shop. My, wasn't she a bundle of energy!
The woman took the clothing that was presented to her and looked over them briefly. A kimono? That's interesting. It seems this shop also caters to Hoshidan women as well. Maybe this wouldn't be a bad place to stop by every now and again to get some disguises. The other item was a pretty white dress with ribbons.
"They're lovely," said the young woman, "I'll go ahead and try these on, then." She took the clothing and went back inside the dressing room. She would try the kimono first.
Give that the kimono was made up of different articles of clothing, this would take a bit of time to get on...
Oh? Where was the nagajuban, the inner coat of the kimono? The final form would not be the same without it. Perhaps this was made for people who were already wearing one... or perhaps it was misplaced in the shop as well?
"Pardon me..." she said as she pulled the curtain aside, "Is there a nagajuban, erm, inner coat of a kimono around? I need it to wear the kimono properly."
Hm, it was getting difficult to just call the girl like this. Maybe she would introduce herself.
"By the way," she added, "My name is Hadassah. What's yours?" Lisette

Lisette's face went red as she realized her mistake, her eyes darting to and fro, before dashing to grab a nagajuban, and then back. "I'm so so so sorry! That was so st-... Err! Sorry, sorry I screwed up..." Lisette stated in a rushed panicked tone, as she handed the garment straight to the lady. She seemed a lot more panicky than her earlier actions would show her to be.
"U-Um... Nice to meet you Miss Hadassah, my name's Lisette, it's a pleasure!" She stated, trying to get her composure back, yet she didn't seem the best at it. "Er! That should be all you need to try it on, sorry about that screw up!" Lisette awkwardly smiled, as she walked backwards before turning around and resting upon the counter. 'Great going, that's a customer who you'll never see again...' She sighed a bit as she tried to look at the other customers, to see if they seemed alright.
Hm? Was it that big of a deal? Well, all things considered, if the tailor knew nothing of another's culture of clothing, then perhaps it is a problematic thing.
Of course, it wasn't such an offense to warrant the girl's panic. A graceful patron would simply correct this, and Hadassah was one such.
"It's fine, Lisette," said the woman with a smile. She received the nagajuban from the girl, "Just remember to keep them folded together next time. I'll get changed now." And so Hadassah withdrew into the changing room.
Now... had did this go again? She had put on a kimono before, but that was a while back now. The nagajuban was first, then the inner obi... then the kimono, then the obi... right, it was in that pattern. There truly was an art to putting on a kimono properly, otherwise the wearer was considered slovenly!
So, the juban was put on and tied with the inner obi, then the excess fabric was adjusted to about ankle length. Next, the kimono was put on, and then the obi...
Hadassah looked in the mirror and critiqued herself. Not too shabby a job! she bobbed her head with satisfaction. Thus, she once again appeared from the dressing room.
"Oh, Lisette!" she called with a grin, "This is very fancy."

As Hadassah changed, Lisette tried to help other customers, most of which weren't the most appreciative, however she learned not to mind much. Only one of them made a purchase, which was of a small hat, that Lisette cheerfully sold.
As a voice rang out from the dressing room however, the little rabbit of a girl, twisted around, and her smile seemed to enlarge. "You look so pretty! Oh wow, it looks really nice on you!" She exclaimed, as she walked straight on over, and looked over the clothes. "It really suits you!"
