Jun in the past never had much control of her wardrobe. Always what was in, always what fit her body best. The singer struggles to break free from these implanted ideas. The dresses she wears are a desperate attempt to reclaim her body; childish to a degree, fluffy, jeweled purity. While she does enjoy all colors under the pastel sky, Jun leans more into the blues and whites. Bright enough to be noticed, but soft enough to not be the center of attention. The singer doesn't wear much in terms of accessories. She could, and she will admit a bracelet or two had caught her attention before, but she won't.

Personality:
Jun is many things- An ungrateful child, A fallen star, A lazy brat, An arrogant dreamer- it just depends on who gets asked. Then and especially now, Jun liked to ask her mother who she was, if only because she had the nicest words.
Nice words don’t always equate the truth, and she knows that, but there is some truth to her mother’s words. Jun is the type of person who knows what she wants and doesn’t hesitate to get it. Jun is an open ear and loyal to a fault. Jun is a hard worker who focuses on the kindness of those around her instead of the negativity constantly pelted at her. Jun is never quiet and doesn’t allow herself to be pushed.
Sometimes Jun wondered if her mother was speaking honestly, or if she was just saying what she knew would make her daughter feel better. Jun knows what she is, however, and no amount of her mother’s honeyed words will change that.
Jun knows what she wants and takes it without hesitating because there were never any repercussions. Even if she didn’t take, there were still ways for her to get what she wanted. Jun is an open ear because she thrills in being someone’s confidant; to know something about someone that no one else knows, or even dreams about, makes her feel important in a way she had never experienced before. Of course, it also helps to have that information on hand. Not that she’d tell anyone. Jun has, and always will be, an angel.
Jun is a hard worker who focused on the kindness of others until the negativity and expectations became too much. She worked harder than anyone else in that damned opera house, but it didn’t matter. Jun is never quiet because if she was, she’d always be ‘Thalassa’s Daughter, Venus’ and nothing more. Jun doesn’t allow herself to be pushed around because her training sessions were always that: shifting, adjusting, apologizing.
The young woman is many things but right now, travelling through the different lands, she is just Jun, and she relishes every moment of it.
Biography:
Cyrkensia loved her mother. Thalassa had a voice that could calm a storming sea and make even the fussiest baby to pause. Cyrkensia loved her father. What he lacked in any musical talent or rhythm, he made up for in his poetic words. Cyrkensia loved them, so it stood to reason that they’d love her just as much.
There had been high expectations placed on her since birth. Great care was taken to cultivate what her parents had gifted her: a sweet singing voice, the ability to weave words into something beautiful, a natural instinct to dance through life’s chaotic rhythm. Her tutors were sure that she’d excel at anything she’d been given. And they were right.
Jun met their challenges. She trained and did as she was told. The child loved when her parents would join her sessions. It was fun to sing with her mother. It was fun to see her father write songs just for her. It was fun.
Then she turned sixteen, and it suddenly wasn’t fun anymore.
Because now she wasn’t Jun Amane. She was Venus. Venus, with a voice so sweet even the birds couldn’t help but sing along. Venus, with a step so light even the air couldn’t tell she was there. Venus, Cyrkensia’s Pearl. No longer her mother and father’s, but the entire city’s. Jun had laughed at the silly ways the opera house had advertised her. Her voice was sweet and her step was light, but they couldn't sell her as she was. Jun had laughed, but the city bought it up, and her tutors cracked the whip.
Her first performance was well received, as were the ones that followed, but still they wanted more. They wanted her to sing lower. They wanted her to introduce more ballads. They wanted her to wear more mysterious clothing. It took her awhile- a few years actually- but she had figured it out. They didn’t want her. They never wanted her. They wanted Thalassa. Jun was fine when she was a child. Venus was okay, but she wasn’t Thalassa. And the years of pushing and pulling and bending finally broke her.
Now she’s no longer Cyrkensia’s Pearl. Now, she’s Jun Amane. Jun Amane, the travelling songstress who sings when she wants, what she wants, and where she wants. She could return to the little sea city if she wanted to. In fact, she’s sure she could walk the streets and not have anyone call out to her.
Jun will return one day but for now, she’s going to go where the wind takes her and sing until she remembers what it was like to love it again.
