Personality: Markus is rather socially awkward. He has a desire to interact with those around him, but has a tendency to speak without thinking of the consequences of his words. Markus is a bit obsessed with his research on the Outrealms, and has a been of a personal interest in proving the existence of dragons. He's also a bit of a flirt, and tends to fall fast and hard for women, but he's got an undying sense of loyalty, especially towards House Gloucester for sending him to the Officer's Academy.

Biography: Markus grew up as a servant in House Gloucester from a rather young age. Being a commoner, he possessed no Crest, but was always enamored by the concept. When he was not busy, he took to reading in the house's library, where he was first introduced to the concept of alternate realities, as well as that of dragons (which he took more of a personal interest in). Over time, the head of the house took note of his interest, and offered to send him to the Officer's Academy, to further his knowledge and when he returned, he would be enlisted as an adviser to the house's leader. Being who he is, Markus jumped at the opportunity. Since then, he's attended the Officer's Academy, studying diligently, and taking any opportunity he can to delve into Outrealm Gates, when they happen to open up.
