About
Profession: Adventurer
Alliance: Neutral
Hometown: The Plains
Likes: Adrenaline rushes, Women, Justice, Violins, Family.
Dislikes: Defeat, enemy magic fire, separation from close ones, paralysis, cheating.Personality: A man of his family, those who raised him in a group. Humble people who taught him the best they could to survive in the plains, resulting in him enjoying life without much money. Naturally, this was solved through raids and thefts, though Ryn would make the conscious decision to abandon that and offer missions up to his group of people. This shows that he prefers to be honest with his methods of life rather than take the simple way out. Even if this was unpopular, he pressed the idea until an effective method of money was being made, traveling through villages to make sure income came their way.Ryn is a capable leader who shows kindness and mercy over the people he looks over. Outside of a leader is a softer side that easily flirts with women, mainly just to see fun reactions. It's a weakness for him to have such a playful side, it shows his immaturity despite trying to keep a band of people safe. Regardless, he enjoys to enjoy life to the fullest, knowing a life of poverty and crime out in the planes with little intention to return back into it.He admires honor and hates deceit and trickery in combat, so he will often refrain from damaging an opponent the best he could unless they display dishonorable acts. At that point, mercy is off the table and those who are deemed his targets will find themselves pursued until they surrender. Even then, there will be a small blood cost for the body to remember what lies in combat do to a warrior. For those who surrender to them, he would treat them like one of his people and they will be treated with the same amount of respect as one of his citizens. But those who cross him and his kindness will face a wrath that not even his family could save them from, for betrayal of trust is dishonorable and unforgivable in his eyes. And yet, he is still alone now.
Biography:
The Myrai family is a family in the Ziriahs tribe, which consists of five known families so far. The population held thirty people when Ryn was born, now it has been reduced to one. The last remaining one is Ryn, who is now the leader of what remains in the tribe. Himself. Living in the plains was difficult for him as a child thanks to the many mouths to feed without the money needed to feed their stomachs. The tribe resorted to theft and murder in order to obtain the money, but these methods were dishonorable and left a bad taste on the villages that have been affected. As a result, the tribe made many enemies of the villages. Perhaps like vikings, but the tribes were unable to flee as quickly as a ship could, especially with the shortage of money present.
His father taught him to inflict justice onto those who deserve it. Those who act out of line must be put back in their place. While this was the case, he was out in the raids and away from the family. His mother was kinder and preferred to show mercy and kindness. The displays of their behaviors toward their children brought an attraction closer to his mother's ways. When he was grounded by his father, his mother would lift it while the father was away. The closer attachment to his mother gave him hope to do the same for others. Naturally, a small part of him urges to fight injustice, but it can be quickly overshadowed by grace.
There was one hope for his tribe though, and it was the fact that they were able to craft weapons and light armors that were decent enough to use. As such, Ryn was able to practice swinging a blade with his siblings so that he could defend the tribe that took care of him. Nothing made him special, nothing brought him further than any of the other kids in the tribe. But despite this, he was able to surpass the others in his training and intellect, making him a possible representative for the tribe's successor by the time was eighteen years old.
When he was declared the successor after dueling the previous successor for the position, his first act would be to advise the clan head to stop the raids and consider missions and assignments villages presented. The head was reluctant at first, but eventually convinced due to the severe lack and would consider anything at this point. Naturally, there was much resistance from the villages when the Ziniah clan left a bad taste in their mouths from word going out, but they eventually managed to build a somewhat stable reputation through less raids and more work. There was no such thing as wealth in the tribe, but at least there was honor and reputation. It seemed like things were finally being put together.
But not in time.
"PERISH, YOU ABSOLUTE MONSTERS!"
And perish they did, right in front of Ryn's eyes, he witnessed the slaughter of all the tribe people while fighting for his life. The death of his siblings, his parents, his clan head, even his grandparents, all of them right in front of him as they were completely ambushed by assassins. Blood flowed like water and painted the grass red. Ryn did his best to hold his own, but the assassins were far too plentiful for him and crushed him in a pile, knocking him out under their weight despite their presumption of him being dead.
Hours passed...
"...Why...Why..."
A man stood up in the field of bodies, not a single one moving an inch. His body ached and his cuts were painful, but nothing was fatal enough for his body to suffer from. Infected wounds, probably. But what sickened him more was the sight of all the innocent blood that he knew could change spilled without a second thought, in an ambush, just for the sake of revenge.
Second chances, this was what Ryn wanted to give. Now he was alone to travel the world, unsure about what to do for a whole year. An aimless wanderer who took the best of the armors of his tribe so that they may live on through him.
