A Wilderness Experience Starring Lulu Aurelis and Kenta Matsumoto Hoshidan Forest Wilderness Afternoon
It was another warm, sunny day in the Hoshidan forests, and perfectly agreeable lounging weather by standards of wolves. The river den was empty today, its inhabitants frolicking under the pleasant heat, feasting intermittently on small mice that seemed to be infinite in number.
Among them, an unusual giant of a fellow lay completely flat on the ground with arms and legs sprawled outward. Several wolf puppies napped with him, laid across his bulky form. The man absorbed the sun’s rays like a flower, that is, until his skin felt rather rash.
“Ouch!” he grunted as he sat back up, causing the puppies to tumble off of him. Two ears upon his head pressed downward over his cranium, and a big, bushy tail curled inward. “Too hot!”
Without a second thought, he bounded out of the clearing and under the shade of the trees, accompanied by a litter of playful pups. It was here that he leaned against a tree and allowed himself to resume his nap.
Meanwhile, not too far away, a certain kitsune was walking through this same forest. She appeared to be a bit lost... She'd come out here to get away from the hustle and bustle of her performing tour for at least a little while, and she'd enjoyed her nice, relaxing walk... Until, of course, she realized she didn't remember how to get back to the city.
"Oh..." Lulu muttered to no one in particular. She sighed as she looked out at the seemingly endless stretch of trees before her. How would she ever find her way back...?
*Yawn...* W-what's with the look?! Hmph... Stupid humans.
The nostrils of the wolfskin began to flare as a new scent upon the wind manifested itself in his heightened olfactory senses. It was unlike anything he’d ever smelled before, aside from humans and animals.
Well, better off to see what it is.
The hulking figure rose from his spot, and when the pups noticed him rise, he spoke, “Don’t follow. Stay with Mother.”
With a few barks, the pups responded in kind and bounded back toward a rather large wolf. She stared back to him with piercing eyes, but not of hostility.
“I’ll be back,” announced the wolfskin, “Just gonna check something real quick.”
The wolf nodded her head, and thus the large man bounded upwind, following the unusual scent. He went a little ways before the path opened up before him.
There, a small figure in the brush! It had two unmistakable ears and a bigger tail than he has!
...
That is a big tail. A really, really big tail.
The wolfskin crept low to the ground as he began a stealthy approach. If he’s lucky, then he might be able to touch the tail...
Lulu sighed. She eventually determined she'd lay against a tree, at least for a little while. It would give her some time to think about what was going on. How dissapointed David would be if she missed her performance tomorrow... Not to mention her audience. It was dreadful to think about. She just had to try and remember... ZOxLX8n21-61-6
*Yawn...* W-what's with the look?! Hmph... Stupid humans.
The wolfskin, large as he was, managed to creep up behind the stranger. Upon closer inspection, he was able to ascertain her appearance fully. She had two ears, pointier than his own, with a tail of different colors, longer and smoother in appearance than his own.
Yes, and the smell was really different! Almost... floral! It's almost like what some human females wore.
Without even thinking (not that this fellow did much of that), he reached out toward the stranger's tail and grasped it firmly. Lulu Aurelis
Lulu's eyes widened in shock. Something had grabbed her tail!
"Gyeep!" She cried in shock and rushed to stand, pulling her tail from the stranger's grasp. "W-w-w-what's wrong with you?!" She turned around to look at the man and... Was shocked to find that he wasn't human. Nor was he kitsune... No... This was a... wolfskin? Her tail began to wag as she completely forgot the fact that he'd just grabbed her tail. She'd never met a wolfskin before...
*Yawn...* W-what's with the look?! Hmph... Stupid humans.
The wolfskin looked up to the stranger’s head, particularly at her eyes. He felt her tail twist in his grip, but she did not pull away. Did she like this?
“Uh,” he grunted, “Never seen a tail like this before.” His gaze fell back to her tail. He began to stroke the fur gently, “It’s smooth. You’re not wolfskin, are you?” Lulu Aurelis
Lulu nearly squealed in delight as you ran your hands through the fur on her tail. Oh, the feeling was truly heavenly... But now wasn't the time to fawn over it.
"I'm not, no." She said quietly. "I'm a k-kitsune. Our kind are native to the Hamlet near here." She stated. "However, I-i was raised in C-cyrkensia."
*Yawn...* W-what's with the look?! Hmph... Stupid humans.
“Kitsune? Cyrkensia?” the fellow’s lips twisted in confusion, “Never heard of those before!” He continued to run his fingers on her tail, “Hrm, though I’ve only ever been to a place called... er... what’s a what it was called... some Kitsu-whatever. Sounds like someplace you’d be from, or somethin’.”
He snorted as he released her tail, “Meh, don’t matter now! Say, what’s your name? Mine’s Kenta.” He suddenly rose to his towering height, the knuckles in his knees crackling in the quick movement. Lulu Aurelis
“Lulu?” the wolfskin jutted his chin out, “Hrrrm...” He suddenly squatted back down and started circling her. Given the broadness of his form, it was surprising that he was capable of twisting his body as he did. “A dancer, huh... I guess you have good calves... y’know, if you don’t have strong calves, you can’t hop around too good. Take it from me.” In the next moment he stood back up and turned around, his tail wagging fast enough to cause wind to blow. “Check it out! I’ve worked on my calves to get ‘em this tough! Go ahead, punch ‘em! Don’t be shy!” Lulu Aurelis
Lulu giggled a bit and did a light punch onto his calve.
"Oooh, you're right... Your muscles are very tight there..." She smiled kindly at him. Now, back to the task at hand... Getting out of this forest. "You don't happen to know the way to the nearest town, do you? I came out h-here for a walk and I k-kinda got lost..."
*Yawn...* W-what's with the look?! Hmph... Stupid humans.
What a silly punch that was. If she got into any fights, she probably wouldn’t last a couple rotations!
What a weird thing to think.
Kenta bent all the way down to look at her between his legs.
“Town, huh? I guess you’re into civvie life even if you’ve been a beast since you were born.” His ears seemed to droop momentarily, but his body suddenly fell forward as he twisted back around to face her whilst squatting in similar fashion to a dog.
In fact, his tail began to wag as a new thought had introduced itself in his head.
“Hey, how about I get you to flex your beast muscles? Get a load off of being a ‘human’ once in a while, huh? Huh? What about it?” While he appeared to be a large... man? The wolfskin hopped back and forth with excitement, “We can go hunting, fishing, maybe run around the forest a little! Whaddayasay?!” Lulu Aurelis
Lulu was astonished by the wolfskin's excitement to transform. She didn't do it much... The instincts she faced when she was transformed were too strong... She was always afraid she'd hurt somebody. But... She was in the forest... No one else was around, save for him.
"Well... I suppose..." Lulu said as she clutched her Beaststone to her chest. She always kept it in a pendant around her neck, just in case. She held it high and felt her body begin to shift and twist into the form of a rather large fox, with somewhat jagged crystals jutting out of her skin here and there.
(Of course, she won't be able to go into combat like this, since she's of a dancer class.)
*Yawn...* W-what's with the look?! Hmph... Stupid humans.
All of a sudden, Lulu transformed into a giant fox. The wolfskin’s body stiffened, his brows knitting in such a way that any sane person would wonder how his facial muscles were capable of such a thing.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa, this isn’t what I meant,” he gestured with his hands, “I’m talking just a romp, y’know! Just around the woods and...” He put his hand to his chin, “... Heck, but you might be onto something. Welp...”
The large man stretched his arms out, then curled his body in. In the next instant, there was a bright flash, and his body transformed. His head was covered with an unusual metallic mask, his body covered in dark fur similar to the hair on his head, and a large coat adorned his shoulders like pauldrons. His forelimbs grew in size, and his already great height increased by five extra inches.
Yet, suffice to say, he looked more like a gorilla with a wolf mask on.
“Hahaaaa!” a metallic laugh echoed from within the wolfskin’s mask as he flexed his grand biceps. “Man, this feels great! C’mon, Lulu! Let’s go hunting!” Lulu Aurelis
