Koume prefers clothing she can run and jump around in. She didn't have much of a selection growing up. Most of the clothing she was given never fit her properly and was always stained. Some of the younger shrine maidens would sneak her a cute dress or clean pants every once and a while. The child treasured these. The red hooded cloak she wears is never seen away from her. Once belonging to her mother, a gift from her husband, Koume will instinctively scratch at whatever pulls at it.

Personality:
The teen isn’t the easiest person to get along with. Her temper is ridiculously short and she possesses no filter when it comes to her words. Her manners aren’t the best; she’s been described to act more like a boy or even an animal rather than a young lady. Though, asking her, she believes being described as more like an animal was just due to her race. Koume is known to be kinder and more patient to women than men. It doesn't look like much to the outside eye, but she does make a conscious effort.
Koume doesn’t believe in planning ahead. She believes in fighting with all her strength and not stopping until her opponent admits defeat. Her reckless nature often leaves her with blooming bruises and healing scars. It’s something she takes pride in, strangely, and will give the story behind each of the injuries with an excited smile. Koume can’t help but tend to someone who is injured. Not because she cares of course, but because every good deed usually gets rewarded.
Biography:
Koume never had the chance to know her mother personally. The woman had been dead long before her daughter was forced from the womb. Everything she had learned about her first parent came from the older shrine attendants. They entertained the child with stories about the troublesome, yet strongly devoted and wonderfully kind, priestess of Aki’s shrine. Koume watched how every person who spoke of her mother lit up. Then she watched it all fade in an instant when her father was mentioned.
No one had known anything about the mysterious man the woman had been seeing. Though it wasn’t like they didn’t ask. They had hounded the soon-to-be mother about her lover but no revealing information was ever said, only that he was from Nohr. Once Koume was born, they could understand the secrecy.
There was fear, at first. Fear and confusion. The baby was clearly human, just not completely. There was a large fight on whether they should take care of the child. In the eyes of some, it was the child who killed their kind priestess. To others, Koume was innocent. It was eventually agreed that she would be raised in Aki’s forest and tended to by volunteers.
Koume has fond memories of her time growing up. The shrine maidens who visited would teach her prayers and the healing arts. The child wasn’t much for learning but they appreciated her efforts nonetheless. Sometimes, if she had been really good, the maidens would take her deep into the forest to hunt and play. Coming back to the little hut was always hard, but Koume had the flowers in the fur of her tail and other treasures to entertain her until the next morning.
Koume doesn’t talk much about the times after that. Even some of the times during her youth are kept secret. She never gives answers when asked why she's by herself or travelling through Nohr. It’s never good when someone tries to push. They’ll usually end up with a bruised knee and a deep scratch.
Other
Status: Alive and very much kicking.
Pet: None, officially.
Additional Notes:
☆ It's not something she openly talks about, but she's desperate to learn about her origins.
★ Koume struggled with shifting between forms until she nabbed a Beaststone from a travelling vendor. While she doesn’t understand what a Beaststone is completely, she knows that the stone is what’s helped her with transforming. She calls it her ‘lucky rock’.
☆ She has a collection of things she finds interesting. To name a few pieces in said collection: a torn up doll named Venus, a molted snakeskin, animal bones and teeth, dried flowers, and a small container filled with fish eyes.
★ While Koume is really good at keeping her face clear of emotion, her tail often betrays how she acts.
☆ Absolutely do not call her ‘Plum’. She will react violently.
