Clothing: Shizuka loves bright and beautiful colors. Her primary outfits involve puffy sleeves and short skirts that have a long beautiful trail that drape over the back of her pegasus while she's riding him. She occasionally wears a light armor while in battle. Outside of battle she can be seen wearing a circlet that was given to her by her parents when she came of age. She likes to wear feather's from Ume in her hair so they match. Occasionally she's dress him up as well. It's her goal to get him matching armor.

Personality: Shizuka is a great ball of energy with a very vivid imagination. Her head is almost always in the clouds in both a literal sense and a figurative sense. She often tends to have a one track mind and can't change the subject easily. She tends to ramble and go on and on and people usually have to tell her to shut up when they want her to stop talking. It isn't very often that she actually thinks things through and she's very quick to act. People often find her easy to take advantage of. She's totally devoted to her country of Hoshido and their cause in the war even though she doesn't exactly understand what any of this is about. She's excited to fight for her country and absolutely hates all of the Nohrian scum who are trying to take over her country.

Biography: Shizuka spent her entire life in a ranch just outside of a town named Kitsuki. Her family worked on the ranch for generations, rasing all sorts of horse mounts and pegasai. She was practially raised by her grandparents, since her mother wasn't very healthy, and her father wasn't around. The young girl was only met with hatred whenever she asked about her father. Her grandparents pretty much bred the hatred of the neighboring country Nohr into her and Shizuka grew up blindly following that dislike. All problems were always blamed on Nohr, from the weather to her mother's poor health.

When she wasn't on the pastures, she would attend one of Kitsuki's many fighting schools. Shizuka quickly began to favor naginata and bo staff fighting. She was very quick to pick up the skills, but would always fall short when facing other opponents in practice. For this reason, its believed that she is a horrible fighter and is often bullied by other kids in school because of it. Few people realize that Shizuka's kind heart makes it difficult for her to look into the eyes of another person and harm them. Even she doesn't see this for herself. Most damage that she deals is purely by accident.

Following a dream of hers, Shizuka set out to join Hoshido's royal forces. It was a dream of her's to fly with the princesses on the back of Ume. Now she's following that dream, not knowing that it will set her on the path to meeting her father in the country of Nohr.
