Personality: The affable Merita is known amongst her peers to be a sweet and gentle spirit in the classroom. She respects hard work and encourages her students to negotiate peacefully rather than use force to get one’s way. However, knowing well that the world has its fair share of anti-peace groups, brigands, and merciless abominations, she tries her best to train her students in escape tactics.
That said, Meri is inexperienced in combat and has a tendency to swoon from the fear of her own death. She detests field exercises terribly, but given her position as a teacher, she is forced to adapt to the curriculum. However, she excels in divinities, medical, and historical subjects, and enjoys recreational activities with students and teachers alike.
In spite of her distaste for the battlefield, she is particularly resilient to the sight of gore of other persons and uses her powerful healing abilities to keep allies alive.
Due to her affiliation with the monastery since childhood, Merita knows the grounds well and can act as a guide for newcomers.
Biography: Merita was orphaned in a brigand attack at a very young age, rescued by passing monastery-affiliated knights. She was taken in by the priestesses and raised in the prevailing beliefs of the goddess.
In time, Merita had shown considerable ability in teaching others the things she had learned, and when she had reached a certain maturity, was granted the opportunity to teach students the curriculum. Naturally, the proposition given reluctant consideration, but after seeing that much of the students were severely lacking in expectation far as the monastery guidelines were concerned, she took on the task.
