After a few months of traveling both Nohr and Hoshido as a performer, Lulu's renown as a dancer had successfully been spread across the world. Her youth was nothing of concern, when it came to her sheer skill in her profession. She had returned to her home in Cyrkensia, where she was welcomed back as a star, which made her more happy than she'd been in her life.
That had been a week ago, and now she rested comfortably in her bed, awakening from a nice, long afternoon nap. She'd decided to take a break from performing for a while. She'd practically made a small fortune on her tour, and she'd given most of that money to her manager and adoptive father, David. So now, she had plenty of time to take it easy. But now, she was hungry. But not hungry for just anything. She craved something rather specific...
Not long ago, when she'd visited a town in Hoshido, a street vendor had set up shop, hoping to make some extra gold selling her signature roasted potatoes. During her performance, Lulu couldn't have helped but be entranced by the scent of the expertly spiced potatoes emanating from the stand. Afterward, she'd stopped by to buy one from the woman, and it had easily been one of the best things the kitsune had ever tasted. She casually mentioned that she could make a fortune selling these in Cyrkensia. When she'd returned back to her hometown, Lulu was surprised to find that the old woman had taken her advice to heart, and was staying here for a short while to help raise a bit of money for her grandchildren.
And so, now Lulu was counting out few pieces of silver to take down to her and buy a potato. She headed outside happily, dressed in a Hoshidan-style garb.
*Yawn...* W-what's with the look?! Hmph... Stupid humans.
It.. Was still strange to wear a different cloak than usual. However he trusts the one that has his first at this time, so Chrim will just continue to believe in them and his mission. Letting out a slight sigh whilst looking out of his dark red cloak while on patrol for his current 'employers', the kitsune would smell something.. Familiar and tasty. Thinking that it has been a bit since his patrol started, it would be a nice idea to get some food for now or when his break comes up.
So making his way toward the smell Chrim would find himself at a stand selling.. Potatoes? ...Well he was never one for being picky about what he finds. So giving a slight shrug he'd walk up to the stand and would buy three. After all, what smells good must also taste good~
Moving to a nearby bench Chrim would unwrap one and start to eat it whilst thinking on a few things.. The first is how his true current employer is doing? It would be a shame if something happened to them since they are the best employer a mercenary can have.. That and she is a friend of his as well. The second would be that these potatoes taste pretty damn good. Out of previous ones he'd eaten in the past these would be the best, at least so far. And the third thing is why did he have to be put in this place by 'that man'? Just thinking about them causes the mercenary to feel anger and want to fight them even if it is a losing battle.. But he must do his best to hold that feeling back for his true employer. After all he is 'hired' by them to watch what they are doing, not attack them.

Lulu quietly left the living quarters of the theater in which she, and many of the other performers David managed, lived. She waved to some of her friends and neighbors as she headed out, her ears perked up through her hair to display her joy. The theater was one of the largest in Cyrkensia, and the old woman's stand wasn't far from it. As Lulu approached the stand, though, she noticed a rather... Unusual scent in the air. It seemed to be coming from a man sitting on a bench nearby. It was... Familiar, somehow. She had to figure out what it was! But... It would be weird for her to just come up and ask him, "hey, why do you smell so nice?"
And so, after greeting the woman and happily purchasing one of her potatoes, Lexi headed over to the bench and sat down next to him, lifting her tail to ensure that she didn't sit on it. She ate her potato peacefully, occasionally glancing over at him, trying not to make it obvious she was trying to catch his scent and identify it.
*Yawn...* W-what's with the look?! Hmph... Stupid humans.
If he wasn't distracted by the potatoes he's eating, Chrim would have noticed the other Kitsune before smelling them. However since that is not what happened he would glance up for a moment as the other person gets food. Though it is true he already knew the smell. Seeing a kitsune that is not hiding their appearance for once is a pretty surprising sight, at least to him. Before she finishes buying her food he'd put his attention back on his own. After all, kitsune tend to go toward scents of other kitsune.
Sure enough she would sit on the bench as well, and if his ears weren't almost as good as his nose it would have been impossible to tell they were sniffing the air a decent amount. After several moments of silence while he finishes his first potato he'd let out a light sigh. "If there's something you need then feel free to ask. Otherwise if you don't need anything I will continue eating." Saying this he'd look to her and wait, his green eyes visible even from under his cloak.

Lulu flinched a bit when he began to speak to her. She had just been getting ready to take another bite of her rather delicious potato when he did. She stopped, blushing a bit as her ears folded back slightly in embarrassment.
"O-oh, I'm sorry..." Lulu began shyly. "I d-didn't mean to bother you or anything. It's just..." She took a deep breath. "This is g-gonna sound pretty weird, but... You smell... Familiar. I can't put my finger on it though. I'll l-leave now, if it bothers you." The kitsune waited for his response hopefully...
*Yawn...* W-what's with the look?! Hmph... Stupid humans.
Noticing the flinch along with her ears folding back his expression would soften somewhat from his almost always neutral appearance. However he would wait for her to finish speaking before shaking his head slightly to the sides. "You aren't bothering me, and there is no need to apologize. After all, how I worded things may come off as rude or antisocial to some."
Bowing his head very slightly his ears would twitch once under the hood he wears. "Anyways you would be correct on me sounding familiar. We both have very similar features and aren't exactly humans, so that is most likely why you came to me." Saying this he'd chuckle somewhat. "Ah.. Before I forget but my name is Chrim. And I have to say that I didn't expect to see a kitsune that doesn't hide what they are from these humans."

Lulu's eyes widened at the shocking news she'd just received. That's why he'd smelled so familiar! It wasn't that she'd ever met him before, no... It was that for the first time in her life, she was meeting another Kitsune.
"Y-you're... A k-kitsune too?" Lulu asked in a hushed voice, tail starting to wag rapidly. "F-for real?" Her heart was pounding in shock, but excitement too. Finally! She'd finally found someone close enough to consider kin... But she had to remind herself to be cautious... She didn't know who this man even was, or what he was doing here in Cyrkensia.
"Sorry for freaking out like that... It's just, I've never met another k-kitsune before," She admitted. "I was raised here as a dancer..."
*Yawn...* W-what's with the look?! Hmph... Stupid humans.
Chuckling again once she's finished he'd wave his hand somewhat dismissively in the air. "Like I said, there is no need to apologize to me. And that would explain why the people here seem to be used to you. I'm sure that if I took off my cloak things would not end as well for me though.." Shrugging a bit he'd shake his head a little sadly.
Seeming to think for a moment he'd lift his hood just enough so that she can see his ears before making them both twitch as if to show that they are real. "Sorry if I may not seem as excited as you. But I'm just very careful with what I do and who I trust these days. If you know of a safe place for kitsune or others like us to talk then feel free to lead us to one. Otherwise we can continue to speak here, though I will keep my hood covering my features so that I don't get attacked or chased out of this town."

"You're welcome to come to my home in the Glass Theater," Lexi stated happily, tail still wagging. "The only other people there would be my fellow dancers, and my... Manager, David, who raised me. They're all very accepting, and I'm sure wouldn't mind having you around for a short while."
Lulu was more excited than she'd been in her entire life. This was an incredible experience for her, and she wanted to know all about this other kitsune and what his life entailed.
*Yawn...* W-what's with the look?! Hmph... Stupid humans.
"I see.." Thinking for a couple moments Chrim would nod slightly. "Very well. Let's hope that they are all as hospitable toward me as they are you, feel free to lead the way since I don't know where everything is in this town yet."
Standing up and putting the rest of his potatoes in his cloak, Chrim would seem to realize something and cocks his head to the side slightly. "Ah.. I just realized that you never said what your name was. Since I said mine a bit ago, it would only be fair if you said yours, correct milady dancer?"

"Of course!" Lulu replied joyfully. "I'll lead the way." When he reminded her that she hadn't given her name yet, her face flushed with embarrassment.
"Ah, I'm so sorry!" She apologized quickly. "I got so caught up in the fact that you were... Like me that I forgot to give you my name. It's Lulu, Lulu Aurelis!" She winked cheerfully, like the trained showgirl she was, as she led the way to the Glass Theater.
*Yawn...* W-what's with the look?! Hmph... Stupid humans.
"Lulu Aurelis.." After hearing her name he'd say it as if testing how it sounds before he'd then chuckle some at her excitability.
"Though I've already said this a couple times. There is no need to apologize to me. Several different things can happen depending on the situation after all." Saying this Chrim waves off her apology as he follows. After a bit of silence he'd speak again. "So, your a dancer? I admit that I haven't actually gone to any theater's before, so I don't really see the appeal in going on a stage to dance or sing in front of a lot of humans."

"To be honest, I didn't at first either," Lulu admitted. "Then again, this was coming right off of the death of my mother, sooooo..." She shrugged it off, not wishing to talk about that. Soon enough, they reached the theater.
"Here we are!" Lulu said, guiding him inside and then upstairs. She soon entered her room, "This is my room... Make yourself at home, I s'pose." She smiled at him.
*Yawn...* W-what's with the look?! Hmph... Stupid humans.
Getting the message Chrim would nod slightly and wouldn't ask anymore about it as they walk to the theater. On arriving at the building he'd look around as they made their way toward and into Lulu's room.
"This building is decently big. However I'd feel trapped or cooped up even in a place like this..." Since they are in a safer place now, hopefully. Chrim would pull down his hood making it a lot easier to see his face and features than before. Afterword he'd lean back against a wall and now be looking at the inside of this room. "Thank you for the hospitality. However you didn't have to bring me to your home whenever I mentioned a safe place.. It is appreciated though since I can feel a bit more at ease in a place that smells like another kitsune." Saying this the seemingly stoic mercenary would smile slightly before bowing his head to Lulu.

Lulu giggled softly at Chrim's thanks, smiling at the other kitsune. She couldn't quite keep her gaze off his ears at this point... She was just so excited to finally meet another kitsune!
"Oh, there's no need to thank me!" She insisted. "After all, I'm the one who asked you to come talk to me. I just... Oh, I'm so excited!" She squealed with delight, her tail still wagging. "You have no idea how incredible this is!"
