At the time, Fila had parted ways with Fierre’s company so that she may fulfill her role as a messenger, along with accomplish certain personal obligations. At around the same day, a rather tattered Chrim and Atsushi had returned to the town and found a gracious monk who willingly replenished their health, that is, some scars would remain as reminders of their struggle with the unsavory Karma.
With the two back on sturdy feet, it was now up to Chrim to guide Atsushi back to the quarters where Fierre had taken refuge.
“What a relief,” sighed the monk as they proceeded through the crowded streets of the market, “A minute longer, and I may as well have passed into the nether.” chrim
Nodding to that Chrim would be relatively quieter now that things have calmed down by a considerable amount for the two of them. "Is that so? Seems it was a good things we found help for you sooner rather than later." Only responding to the monk he wouldn't state much else as he watches their surroundings. It might be due to them being in a crowded place or it would be cause of their earlier fight. But the mercenary would seem to be more attentive than before of the people both seen and smelt.
After a bit more walking he'd sigh somewhat. "I wonder how the two of them did while I was out? I'm sure that the one I follow can handle them-self well. However, I don't quite know how the other person that came with us fights yet." Musing to himself he'd just shrug after a bit before looking to atsushi. "Anyways the building that we are staying in is a minute or two away depending on how fast or slow we are." Atsushi (Or do I put down The Madame ?)

“Either way,” Atsushi spoke, “No matter who she associates herself with, they will always be a strong person.”
In a little bit of time, the inn where their mutual friend was said to have resided came in sight, thus they would naturally enter.
Upon entrance, the exotic tavern was already lit up with a certain liveliness. Certain inebriated men sitting at their low sitting table carried on in conversation.
“Haaaah, that foreigner was beautiful, eh?” “I know, I know, I saw you ogling her up ‘n’ down, Shun-san!” “Oi, oi, oi! Don’t say it like that! She stared back at us, you know?” “Yeah, stared back and scoffed.” “Fiesty! Next time she comes out, I’ll ask if she can join us!”
Atsushi drew closer toward Chrim as he whispered, “It seems she’s already returned.” chrim
Chrim would just give a slight nod to Atsushi's response and wouldn't say anything until they reach the inn. Though on arriving he'd hear people talking about who is most likely Fierre. So sighing slightly he'd nod once again to the monk. "It seems that is so. Either that or it's somebody else that they have their eyes on. In either case let's head up and wait for or greet my charge."
With that he'd then start to make his way toward the staircase with the monk. The whole walk he'd do his best to not move his tail or his ears that are still hidden under the monks bit of clothing on his head. Atsushi

"Yes, let's," the monk responded, his voice dropped further, "I wouldn't want to complicate our conversation with... other people in the mix..."
Thus, the two of them climbed the staircase and reached the second floor, where Chrim would lead Atsushi to the room of his liege. From behind the thin door, there was the sound of rustling cloth on the tatami floor.
"Grr... this is frustrating..." came a low growl from the other side, "Can't make heads or tails of this ridiculous thing..."chrim

On arriving at the door Chrim would tilt his head very slightly to the side at only smelling one scent, being Fierre's, and that it sounds like she is having trouble with something. Deciding it would be best to not barge in he'd carefully knock on a more wooden part of the doorway. "I'm back from my errand along with a bit of baggage milady. How did things go on your end, and may I come inside or are you currently busy?"
Just saying this for now since the door's are thin in this place he'd wait outside for a reply, the whole time he'd be keeping watch of his surroundings just in case someone is listening or had followed them both here. The Madame

Atsushi’s head drooped down glumly. “B... baggage...”
There was a short pause before the resident on the other side shuffled away from them. Seconds later, there was a brief flash of light, and then footsteps approached. The door was shoved aside, revealing Fierre wearing her old maroon dress. On her brow was a feverish irritation, while behind her was strewn a mess of different robes and linen.
“I could use some baggage for this nonsense,” she huffed with puffed cheeks, “I can hardly catch a break with...” Her eyes shifted from the kitsune to the monk, and in an instant there was a look of relief. “Oh-ho, well, if it isn’t my beautiful monk! A pleasure to see you again, Atsushi-san.”
“Madame,” the monk whispered with a bow, “Also a pleasure to see you.”
“Ah,” she had raised her finger, yet the hand dropped to her side, “Yes, yes, why don’t we come into my room for a brief moment? Please excuse the mess. Kimono problems.”
“Of course,” the monk nodded gently before entering, pressing himself against the wall as to give them room.

Seeing their interaction and that they really do know each other, chrim would lose quite a bit of his earlier tenseness. So chuckling a bit he'd lightly pat the monks shoulder as he enters. "Apologies for the wording a bit ago. But it seems you've been upgraded from baggage to a friend. I wanted to be sure that you knew her before completely trusting you."
With that said he'd move over to one of the walls and would lean against it, ready for a fight as usual when awake. "Oh yeah. Atsushi may have told me your actual name on me first meeting him. Though I'll still call you Fifi as you asked earlier since your old title is no longer usable."
Giving a light yawn he'd then gesture to the various robes. "I'm guessing that you bought these with Fila, and did something happen? I don't smell any recent scents from her anywhere nearby or in this building." Saying this he'd spot his own cloak that he let Fierre borrow while he was away and picking it up would put it back on.

“I see,” Atsushi shrugged his shoulders, “Well, I have no leanings toward secret codes or names.”
“Right, about that, Atsushi-san,” said Fierre as she closed the sliding door, “For the time being, I need to operate under ‘Fifi’ for a little while. Is that okay?”
The monk sighed and arched his brows, “As you wish, Ma... Fifi-san. I hope this has nothing to do with...”
“It does, but more on that later.” She glanced to Chrim at the mention of Fila, “Yes, I did. I actually sent her on an errand to Nohr. She won’t be with us for a while, but when she returns, I hope to hear about what’s going on in the west.” Her shoulders hung loosely on her sides, “Since I have you here, Chrim, I figured I can keep you by my side a little while longer.”
“Ara, ara... this is no good, you know...”
The monk had collected the discarded robes from the floor and lay them flat on top of each other. A disapproving stare came on his face as he looked at Fierre, “Fifi-san, could it be that you are having trouble putting your kimono on?”
The manakete averted her eyes as she folded her arms and puffed air into one side of her cheek, “I... don’t typically wear those kinds of clothes, my dear monk.” She glanced down to him, “... Perhaps you could assist me with this?”
“Of course. This is common knowledge in our land, so I will happily teach you.”
“Yay!” Fierre made a little joyful hop, “I received my kimono in a package, so they hardly showed me how to put it on.” Her head turned to Chrim, “Good fellow, I think it imperative that you leave my room briefly.” chrim

Listening to the both of them talk he'd nod lightly to what Fierre says about Fila. "I see.. And of course. I am your mercenary after all, so I'll follow as long as I'm wanted Fifi." Just saying this for now he'd go back to listening to them and any other possible outside sounds. Though hearing Fierre's request for him to leave he'd seem a bit confused for a second and would be about to ask why before quickly figuring it out.
"Ah, I see. Apologies. I'll take watch outside until you call me back in milady." Bowing his head slightly to her he'd look to Atsushi for a second before walking out of the room and closing the door behind him as he waits to be called back in. Once out there he'd sigh lightly before leaning back against a more sturdy part of the wall.

With the kitsune outside of the room, Atsushi let out a quiet sigh as he rearranged the articles of the kimono on the tatami floor. “Mada—Fifi-san, what happened in Nohr?”
“A lot of things,” she responded with a glum tone, “But my brother found me and made me wreck my own establishment.”
“Ah... I’m so sorry to hear that, Fifi-san... it must be hard for you.” “... Harder than anyone thinks...” “Don’t worry, though. The Hoshidan government cares for its citizens. I’m certain that he won’t find you here.” “Oh, he will.” “How are you so certain?” “... He has... him on his side...” “... Him?” “... Aldanier.” “... What! The elf that...” “Yes, the very same who dumped you in the swamp. There’s no hiding from a man like that.” “... Then... then...” “We can’t stay here in Izumo for very long. I’ll need to split up to lose their scent.” “This is... so very troubling, Fifi-san... ah, I’ve finished.” “... Oh, too wrapped up in our emotions to notice, huh...” “Fifi-san.” “... Yes, Atsushi?” “I... yes, I would lay down my life for you, you know. I’m certain there are others that would, too. Those who wish to see you live a happy and peaceable life.” “... That... I can’t allow you to do that for me, Atsushi.” “Why not? This universe was not fair to you at all!” “... Enough, Atsushi. Please.” “... S... sorry. I...” “Let Chrim back inside.” “Y... yes. I’m so sorry.”
The door of the room opened, revealing a rather somber-faced monk, “... I’m... I’m going to walk for a little while. Please remain with the... I mean, with Fifi-san.” chrim

Staying silent as the two of them talk while putting on her kimono. He couldn't help but listen in since he already is just in case of an attack. Once the door is opened for him by Atsushi, chrim would nod to them slightly. "Of course. And have a nice walk Atsushi." Chrim would wait for the monk to leave the room before he'd then enter it himself.
First looking around the room somewhat he'd then move to a part of the wall inside of it before putting his gaze back to Fierre. "Hmm.. I have to say that your kimono works decently well for you." Chuckling lightly he'd then give a very slight smile. "But I'm sure that's not what's on the front of your mind right now."
Crossing both of his arms in front of himself he'd continue in his usual calm tone of voice. "You've been sending everyone you know away from you Fifi. So what do you plan for me to do?"

“Hoh, decently well,” Fierre pouted at him with a shake of her head, “You need to work on your ability to compliment women.” She proceeded to kneel down on a floor cushion before exhaling deeply.
Despite the fact he would state his mind most of the time, Chrim was as perceptive a kitsune as they come. He probably knew that it would come down to this…
… Yet, he would play a rather interesting role, should he choose to take it.
“Chrim,” she said with an expression most earnest, “Let me make one thing fundamentally clear, I absolutely love interpersonal relationships. You must realize at this very moment that I am tearing parts of my heart away by sending you on a separate path from mine.” Her voice cracked toward the end of her sentence, thus she closed her eyes briefly, then opened them again with returned vigor, “… That said, I have a rather... unique, yet potentially life-threatening role for you to play.”
Her finger nervously tucked a loose bang, “I... want you to track down my brother, and if he is truly running with...” her voice dropped to a whisper, “... the Black Market.”chrim

Chrim would only give a light chuckle when she says he should work on his complimenting skills before continuing to listen to what she has to say. After she finishes he'd frown very slightly and close his own eyes. "... I see. And don't worry, I already found out that you care about your friends or acquaintances."
Seeming to think a bit he'd soon re-open his eyes before taking his cloak off even though he had just recently put it on. "I'll do it on three conditions. The first is that I'll need you to keep my cloak in your safekeeping since that is the only thing your brother saw of me before we left your previous home. And if I was to look for them with it, then my cover would be blown very quickly."
With that said he'd stop leaning against the wall and walk over to fierre before stopping a couple feet from her. "The second is that I'll need something else to use in place of my cloak while you keep hold of mine. After all I can't walk around with my tail and ears wagging out in the open." Even though that is said, the kitsune would hesitate somewhat before holding out his cloak to her.

“That’s all well and good,” Fierre nodded as she took his cloak, “I have no problem helping you select a new outfit...” She studied the cloak briefly before picking at it, “... I must say, cloaking yourself in this country makes you stand out more since it’s quite warm already.” Her brow lowered, “Although winter is coming now, it would likely be vastly different from what I know of Nohr. It’ll be useful during my travels.”
She threw the cloak around her shoulders and cleared her throat, “You didn’t say your last condition, dear. Do share.”chrim
