Biography: The Madame is one shrouded in mystery, being learned in the ways of men and knowledgable in the many heartaches of life. Much of her own background she keeps as a mystery to her students and peers, but a trusted few within the upper ranks have heard and know of her tale.
Two years ago, the Madame and her son arrived from an Outrealm Portal, exhausted and pursued by otherworldly creatures. Knights donning the colors of Garreg Mach were nearby and responded accordingly, slaying the lesser creatures with great skill and strength. However, it was not long until an enraged behemoth from within the portal appeared, one that was more than a match for the noble knights.
In the dire moment, the Madame, emboldened by the valor of the knights, took the terrible form of a fiery dragon, rent asunder the body of the beast, and burned it to ashes in hellfire. With the greatest threat defeated, the dragon and the knights began eradicate the scattered forces until none were left. When the battle was truly over, dragon restored herself to her human form and collapsed.
After a long, empty dream, the Madame awoke in a soft bed within the walls of the Garreg Mach Monastery. A nurse with an affable reputation had tended to the manakete, while her son mingled actively with the other children. At first, the Madame decided that they would leave immediately, not wanting such hospitable individuals to be caught up in her affairs. Nevertheless, the knight company who rescued her, along with individuals of higher rank who knew of the Madame’s situation, recommended that she hide herself in this realm.
Naturally, there was a deal to be made. In exchange for sheltering the two of them, the Madame would share her knowledge as a teacher, give some private insight into the ecology of dragons, and perhaps even rise to the occasion of defending the monastery from impending danger.
