Laughing slightly, he looked at her when she got closer He practically could smell her aroma,. Whatever it was it was intoxicating. Looking into her eyes he smiled and then spoke. "Fine, i'll tell you." With a pause he chuckled. "the current leader in who i want to dance with is...you." He chuckled and then slightly blushed.

Fierre placed a hand over her mouth to stop herself from bursting into giggles. Reckless, indeed! What a staple trait of him. "You are so very incorrigibly rash, my dear knight," she said with a melodic voice, "But what can I say? Maybe one of these days we can have a waltz beneath the moon of Cykrensia to one of the songs of Lady Layla if you are so inclined..."
Hot ears twitched at the very sound of their conversation and tensed, clawed fingers began to tremble. "Overconfident rascal...!" the strained voice carried across to their booth.

"Perhaps indeed my lady fierre." The words were soft, and his hand that had reached out to hers was very soft. The time he was spending with her out of battle far outweighed that of any gold he could receive. In fact Naito would gladly change to work for her leader if it meant he would be with her. "The songs she sings are quite amazing to listen to. Perhaps I may take you to hear her sing live." Smiling Naito slowly raised her hand up and then kissed the top of it. "For a beauty like you, even that alone is not enough. Surely, ask me to do anything for you and it will be done."

Fierre blinked at his gesture, and in an instant her cheeks began to redden.
Was he... serious?
"N... now, now..." she murmured as she slowly withdrew her hand, "... to do that in front of these kinds of people..."
"Ms. Bergstrom," the maid had reappeared, "It is time."
Fierre folded her hands gently and swallowed, "... Right." She dipped her head down toward him, "... Naito... I'll... get back to you on that, huh? Why don't you... sit on this side instead?" She motioned her hand to the center of the booth, "... maybe... you'll be able to watch the show a little easier." After she spoke, she followed the maid into the kitchen.
Suddenly, the lights of the lounge suddenly dimmed, and a powerful candle-lit spotlight streamed from the ceiling onto a stage toward the other end of the room. A green-haired maid stood with her hands folded above her waist.
"Ladies and gentlemen," she spoke with a voice full of charm, "Welcome to the House of Knowledge. In a few minutes, the company diva will come onto the stage."
The fellow nearly blew his tea kettle, however, as the atmosphere darkened, a devious face of murderous intent came over him. "Get him, now!"
Yet, the voice of the maid on the stage continued, "We ask that you do not disrupt the performance. The consequence of such an action would be great. Thank you, and enjoy the performance." With a graceful curtsey, the maid exited the stage.
The two subordinates looked at each other, then glanced to the angered lord. "... If this were our lounge we would do this easily, but..."
"Gah...!" a sigh of defeat.

Was that...a blush? Naito couldnt believe his eyes. The golden haired lady had actuall blushed because of him. Then when she said the things about doing that infront of the people here, he laughed slightly. But he then refocused as the maid had come back and said it was time. Naito's attenion then was grabbed by Fierre who said to sit in the middle of the booth. Smiling he stood up and did so.
"Wait, watch? Show?" He was now very curious as to what Fierre was about to do, but he didnt have a chance to ask her. Remaining seat, Naito decided to just watch the upcoming show. It kind of made him nervous now.

The spotlight turned off for a brief second. The sound of bated breath reverberated across the room.
Then... it turned back on, revealing Fierre on the stage in a graceful sky blue dress that hugged her waist.
She walked center stage in silence, then the strum and sustain of a violin and cello accompaniment began to play. Seconds later, on the beat, she began to sing in a beautiful, yet foreign language. It was a slow, melancholy tune that gently caressed the souls of the hearers. Admirers sat on the edges of their seats as they tried their hardest to resist the temptation of moving closer from where they sat.
As the performance went on, in the darkness, a figure moved and sat down in the open booth opposite of Naito.

Naito definitely felt more relaxed now. In fact he was glad it was singing and not something else that had been on his mind considering the crowd around him. As he listened to her song, his eyes tracked the movement of a silent man or woman who ended up sitting in the open booth in front of him. So this must be the leader, or someone close to him. Taking his eyes off of Fierre, Naito nodded and then smiled at the person.
He didn't say a thing to the quiet figure, he would allow the person a chance to talk first.
The song came to a slow and gentle end, and Fierre exited the stage. The maids made their rounds to light the lounge back up, revealing the stranger that had sat down. A slender, white-haired elf of stately persuasion. He wore round spectacles and an outfit of blue, yet if anyone would have thought it, he was dressed just like any one of the butlers who managed this place.
"Such a beautiful song, sung by a woman whose very appearance is ideal beauty of many men," he said with a wide smile, his head turned to the knight, "To think we would enjoy the pleasure of having Duke Naito Uvoan in our humble little establishment tonight. I must say... you've got quite the balls to pull your stunts with our dearly beloved diva." A gentle chuckle resonated in his throat, "... Yet, that makes you even more of a fascinating character, doesn't it?"
The elf extended his hand, "Weston Aldanier, proprietor of the lounge and one of the heads of Fierre's company."
As the song ended and the lights began to come back, Naito's eyes never left the man in front of him. Truthfully, this man seemed very much the business kind to Naito. WHich made him on high alert. But the way he talked and smiled reminded him of his late father. Chuckling after the elf had finished talking about how brave he had been to do what he did while talking to Fierre, Naito smiled. "Truthfully? I didn't actually care what your friends did. I had the sense that i was already being watched as soon as I entered the Catacombs. besides, if they wanted to kill me they should have done it on my way here, don't you agree?" Naito asked and then paused. It was true, he did like Fierre.
"Before anyone gets curious. What I had told Miss Bergstorm, it is true. All of it." Having spoken that he felt more confident and sure of himself. Then once the man had introduced himself and held out his hand, Naito extended his and shook West's hand. "it is an honor to meet you sir Weston."
"My friends?" West drawled, he let out a sputter before giving off a light-hearted laugh, "No, no, no... I don't think you understand. The insolent fellow who was making a hubbub... Lord Rozco of such and such a place, across the room, over there." He pointed at the flabbergasted fellow, who suddenly turned white in fear. "He's just a pretentious admirer, I'm afraid."
The elf leaned forward , "So far as what you've said to Fierre? I see that as a fascinating predicament on her end... but my, aren't you a bit ignorant of her circumstances! Ho, no matter... you'll learn soon enough what you're getting into with her should you choose to pursue her. But! I digress. We're here to talk about you!" He pointed a finger at the knight, "Your track record is quite interesting. Care to share?" Naito
Well if they weren't his friends then perhaps Naito should have done something after all. Oh well, he could ignore it for Fierre's sake at least. For now.As he listened to west and then noticed the 'lord' go ghost white, Naito chuckled and replied. "So, how many leaders are there of this company?" He asked curiously and then clapped as Fierre left the stage fully. Bringing his attention back to West, Naito pondered what exactly he meant.
Even if they were here to talk about him, his comment about being ignorant of her circumstances was quite intriguing. But, like he said, he would learn later if he continued to chase after her. "My track record huh? You mean the fact that ive never been defeated in combat or business? Well I take pride in that and I always have about five or more plans ready just in case something goes wrong."
The elf brushed his fingers across his chin and smirked, "Indeed, a knight of your caliber must be a fine tactician even for your age..." His head dipped down, casting foreboding shadows across his face, "It would all have been perfect... only if I hadn't read this report." A dossier was produced from his vest and opened.
"... 'In most of our instances together, I found myself at the mercy of his smugness and carelessness. Sure, he might think his style is particularly effective, but I can't say that's been the best experience on my end...'" read West, he looked up with a tight frown on his face, then returned his gaze to the parchment, "... 'My last visit to the gate with him was nearly a disaster. I had to defend his sorry derrière at the expense of my sanity. I can't take this mental torture. That's the last time we're ever going in that Gate together."
The file was slapped closed, and the elf leaned forward on the table with a plain look on his face, "As her guardian, I'm afraid I must go for the throat. Do you understand why I have read this, Duke Uvoan?" He tapped the document upon the table. Naito
The compliment was followed by an almost insult. So she viewed him as careless and smug? Well...he was, but it still hurt to know. The fact that she never wanted to go with him to the gate again was very dissuading and most of all daunting. He wouldnt ever be able to find a partner like her again. She was...special. Sighing as he listened to West read the report and then as about why he had to read it, Naito looked down. "Honestly I am quite cocky, bullheaded, smug, and full of myself. My past victories have only boosted my already large ego. But when that incident had happened....I was too foolish to not run away. It had definitely been my fault and I have not been able to apologize enough to her since."
Sighing he leaned back and then closed his eyes. "Im an idiot that doesnt deserve to chase after a woman like her, but...I can't bring myself NOT to chase after her."
"Oh..." West's brow scrunched and his fingers clasped together, "You've a lot of courage to say that. However..." he stood up and began to move toward the outside of the booth, "At this point, there's something I should bring up.” The elf had moved to the side of a wall and stopped before a large, surly-looking fellow. A nod of acknowledgment was given from the man as he opened a black curtain, allowing the elf and knight to enter. They moved down a wide corridor until they reached a double-door, and West turned to face Naito.
"She was one of my first recruits, you know," spoke the elf, "Met her in a tavern after she had murdered the owner. Turns out, she was a cold-hearted siren who didn't think twice about murder... and she was good at it, too." His head dipped, "After I took her in, we needed to do psychological cleansing to help her function normally enough to work for me. She was that bad, and the itch would never leave her. It was something that was trained in her, apparently." A long sigh escaped his lips, "... As a result, we allowed her to take on bounties to stave that desire." He gently pushed the door open, "... But after that incident... that tendency seemed to have doubled. We had to sacrifice some of our livestock before you arrived..."
The door opened, revealing a disturbing sight. There stood Fierre, her whole being drenched in blood of a beheaded pig hung up on the ceiling. The woman herself breathed heavily and her body shivered from exhilaration. As she turned to face them, her eyes carried a certain insanity.
"Good grief," West sighed with a shake of his head, "And that was her favorite dress, too. She just couldn't wait, could she..." He patted the knight's shoulder, "Well, you want to woo her? You'd better figure out how to fix this." Naito
Listening intently to West, Naito nodded when he said he had other things to say and do. This of course was when they had begun to move around. Entering another hallway, Naito looked along the lights and noticed the hall was smewhat darker than normal. At the same time it felt...nice. His inner personality was far more at home here in the dark hallway than outside. So West had met her in a tavern and noted the fact that Fierre was an assassin of sorts. Well now it made even more sense. Her skill set was something far greater than a regular thief.
When Westy stated they allowed her to take bounties to stave the desire to kill, Naito sighed. There was so much he could say to that, but for now he simply listened. Until, a door opened and revealed a small yet interesting room. In front of him was Fierre whom was standing under a pig's head and being drenched in its blood. Taking a breath, Naito was stunned. Not in the bad way, you see...he actually liked this. "Her best dress, the blood she's spilled, all of it...its beautiful." He told West.
"Yes...I want to woo her, and yet...I won't fix her. Because there is nothing to fix. She is who she is and I will love her regardless." Naito spoke and then approached Fierre with a smile. "My dearest Fierre...You look beautiful right now."
